Authentic Chinese food shanghainese style very small shop but jam packed with customers and for a good reason.Food is delicious fried buns were beautiful everything is handmade and you can taste it for sure!Customer service can improve especially cleaning the tables between customers and also serving wonton and noodle dishes at the same time so you can eat them properly together.Definitely worth a visit if you are missing china and want to experience exactly what it is like to eat at a dumpling shop in places like Shanghai

Worth every dollar spent and prices are very reasonable. The roast duck was not only the freshest we have had but a flavour bomb on the tongue. Amazing flavours. And wasn't overly fatty compared to other restaurants we have visited over the years. The white bait dish was also a big hit, especially with a fussy 4yo child. Could do with Lemon wedge on the side of the plate but other then that, wonderful dish. Customer service was great. And they gave us the option to either order from a QR code or with one of the servers. Can't wait to return again soon.

Went here for dinner on a busy Friday night and it was fantastic! I didn't make a booking before arriving but they accommodated us including a baby and we were seated after only a couple of minutes waiting for a table to become free.Bought several dishes to share amongst the people I was with and the food on the whole was great. My table especially enjoyed the sweet and sour pork and the chicken fried rice.

A bit off the main strip of Cabra is a decent dumpling bar with plenty of seating and a nice decor. Unfortunately the neighbouring property has just had a massive fire and the whole block smelled of ash and smoke. It was not their fault but it did make it harder to enjoy the meal.Food ordered:Prawn dumplings, fried pork buns, scallion pancake.The prawn dumplings were decent. Good chew and tasty prawns inside. The pork buns were ok. Quite doughy and missing that punch of flavour from the broth inside. The pancake was not worth ordering. It was dry and flavourless.The assortment of chilli oil and sauces was good. Not sure if the oil is house made but it was delicious.Ambience:Disregarding the fire as mentioned - the fitout looks newish. Plenty of seating. Not very friendly service but didn’t really expect that anyway with my experience of dumplings bars.I don’t usually dumplings or Chinese food really while I’m this area and probably won’t next time I’m around. But, if you’re in the mood for dumplings this place could hit the spot.

The urgency to attend to customers and keep up with orders and bring out food in a timely manner is non existent...went with the family for dinner and ordered lots of dishes and this was the first receipt captured in the pic btw, after almost an hour the food trickles out bit by bit?! They bring out one main dish then a long wait then another comes out?? Unacceptable. It should either all come out together or at least not have a long gap to bring the rest out. Food was already getting cold waiting for the rest to be brought to us.

Nice quaint little restaurant with the Chinese dumpling vibes. Restaurant quality is clean, hygienic, friendly and good for the price. The food at Dumpling Bar has flavour from the noodles, dumplings to the tofu. Very fresh ingredients for the dumplings, none of the doughy dry processed taste. Overall it's a hidden gem that just opened up in Cabramatta.It's a go to place for me now.

Whether dining in or ordering via uber eats, Shanghai Red doesn't disappoint. The staff is kind, accomodating and professional even though they were very busy, and most importantly, the dishes' taste and quality live up to the high ratings. I will be back for the drunken chicken and black fungus for sure. Check it out yourself and you be the judge.

Great modern Cantonese dishes in Sydney, which you can’t find it in the Eastern suburb. The baked lobster and bbq pork are superb. And you can’t beat their calamari!!Attentive and warm service. Overall, it’s a great dining experience.And some diners have table-carved Peking duck. It looks so nice and would love to try next time.

Famous for its Shanghai pan-fried pork buns, Hong’s Dumplings is a definite must try when you’re in Box Hill. Wrapped in a soft and smooth outer layer, filled with delicious broth and juicy pork fillings, and finished off with a perfectly crisped bottom. This is so much more satisfying and filling than a XLB, and is a meal in itself.

Food is great but service is a hit and miss. They had issues getting orders right, and I thought it was due to being newly opened initially but they continue to mess up orders at last dine in a month ago. Portion sizes for dine in seemed fine, even generous for some of the noodle dishes but the takeaway portion was a joke for my order. $23 for the tofu and mushroom dish that came in a normal takeaway container where I could literally count 12 pieces of tofu floating in the sauce. Better dine in if you don't want to be ripped off.
