I recently dined at Lilong, a fantastic restaurant located in the upper part of Chatswood train station, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. One of the first things I noticed was the restaurant's ability to accommodate both small and large groups, making it the perfect spot for anything from a romantic dinner for two to a large family gathering.Not only is Lilong great for all ages, but it's also incredibly kid-friendly. The staff is always happy to provide high chairs and plastic wares for the little ones. And let's not forget about the food. The menu at Lilong is extensive, with options ranging from fresh seafood to delicious veggies, succulent pork, crab, tea, and so much more.One dish that is an absolute must-try is their salted egg king prawn. The flavor is heavenly, and the prawns are cooked to perfection. The price at Lilong is also very reasonable for the area and the quality of the food and service you receive. Speaking of service, the staff here are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered. They're always ready to help with a smile and ensure that your dining experience is unforgettable.Overall, I would highly recommend Lilong to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a warm and welcoming environment. Walked in on a Saturday night without a booking and they were willing to accommodate (6pax).Order typical dishes from Lilong and they delivered!Reasonably priced also.Would've given 5star if their pricing ethics on alcohol was better.

The worst smoked fish I ever had…I probably wouldn’t ever say this is smoked fish. Other dishes are just below the average. I would certainly recommend the Taste of Shanghai near the world square (Xiao long bao, pan fried pork bun and smoked fish), but not this LiLong.

The food was ok especially the dumplings but after all our main dishes (all without rice) had come out we had to wait another 40 minutes for our fried rice. (We could have ordered more rice but we were thinking of having it with the fried rice) Asked a staff to check where our food was but she replied it should come soon and she'll check on it to never actually check. We ended up asking another staff minutes later and he got our food but there was a hair inside the fried rice. We didn't say anything because by then, my friend and I were both pretty tired.The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was decent but the lighting at the table we were at was too bright. It was directly over our heads so taking pictures was a no.+ I hope you guys could maybe leave some space between the tables so each table has some privacy. The tables were so close together I could hear the people on the left and right (I couldn't talk comfortably as well).

I've been here a few times and the food is usually served quickly and tastes delicious. The customer service was good. It's usually pretty busy on the weekend so you should make a booking.

2.7 - So disappointed with the experience I had. I was queuing for a table behind a guy on his mobile phone, when the staff asked whether I was with him. I indicated No, 3 times and they decided to take me to a table whilst he wasn't looking. When I sat down, and settled, another waiter asked me to get up as the man had now looked up. This was so awkward and made me look like I was doing the wrong thing instead of what I wad asked! I asked the staff how I can order an item for Takeaway using the QR code ordering system and they didn't know! He also then recommended I should order the Takeaway just before I was ready to leave. First dish of the Yeung Chow Fried Rice (which was bland and not as good as the Eastwood chain) took 40 minutes to arrive (I chased it up), and the Fried Beef and Shallots (which was very nice) took another 10 minutes to come after that! I quickly ordered my Takeaway, seeing what happened, and ended up waiting another 40 minutes for that dish before I was able to leave. I did ask for a discount, and got a small one but let me just say, I won't be back of my own accord! (I have marked higher star for the discount)

When you're shopping in a mall and hungry for a quick bite but the foodie inside you refuses to go to food court and heads to an Oriental speciality restaurant nearby (Lilong by Taste of Shanghai at Chatswood) for a late lunch break... We got piping hot excellent and flavourful food in generous portions (Even got leftover packed). Dishes ordered were Kung Pao Chicken with Peanuts and Chicken & Egg Fried Rice with XO Sauce.... It was time for me to thank myself for my own dining decision.

Dishes were really average….. was bit disappointing……The Pan fried bun didn’t have enough filling inside and bun was bit dry too.The bamboo cold dish has no taste so we had to put in vinegar by ourselves to add more flavor.Braised pork belly taste good and melt in mouth.Service was good, staffs were helpful and kind.

Do not come to this place if you wish they gonna serve your dishes faster. I don’t think the roast duck worth to wait 40+ mins. LiLong in city is much better.
