Surprisingly gooooood! Staff were efficient and friendly. Foood was delicious and affordable.Will definitely come back to try out the other dishes.

Loved the steamed prawn dumplings and the sautéed sliced beef and shallot on top of noodles (looks simple but definitely packs a bunch of flavour!)The pan fried pork buns were juicy, but the skin was too thick for me!I did enjoy the casualness of this restaurant and still enjoyed my meal. I would recommend!

Balanced texture of the noodle for the zhajiangmian - not too soft not too hard.Pan fried buns are juicy and steaming hot!The pastry for the Xiao long Bao very nice texture as well - could very well be hand made...Overall very pleasant meal and highly recommended!

I give 3.5 stars as it was hit and miss tonight.Shepherds Purse, Tofu and Prawn Soup - really enjoyed this, felt nice to eat on cold night. Big bowl serve. Prawns diced throughout. Yum.Chicken corn soup - pretty good flavour. I enjoyed it but wish there was a little more texture with chicken or corn piecesShanghai dumplings (xiao long bao) -absolutely perfect! Best I've had in a long time. They give you a sesame seed chilli oil which is perfe t with the dumplings and also soy sauce. I moaned after every bite.Mapo Tofu - this dish wasn't great. It was only, lacked any douchan (bean paste) and sichuan pepper. This is a dish I always order everywhere, it's my fav, but sadly would not order this from JML again. Had a weird soapy flavour.Seafood Noodle in XO sauce - very very very very bland. No flavourJML special fried rice with meat and veg - this is a spicy fried rice and contains seafood which is not specified. So the person who ordered it couldn't eat it. I however like chilli and thought it was nice. But I probably won't order again.The soup and dumplings were really good. But the mains didn't quite meet my expectations

Delicious food and fast, friendly service. The manager (owner?) is so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing! And such fast service. Nothing is too much to ask.Love the drunken chicken, mapo tofu, pork belly, comfortably numb hot pot, string beans & dried shrimp, and of course the dumplings!We've been here a dozen times and never disappointed. Would definitely recommend.

Food was exceptional. Absolutely loved the pan fried juicy pork buns - definitely the best buns we've ever tasted. Spring onion pancake was delicious, not greasy like you sometimes get. Steamed pork and chive dumplings were also great. The slow beef brisket itself was gorgeous (succulent and just fell apart, with amazing flavour) but unfortunately was a bit cold and the accompanying noodles were slightly bland. All in all though, a great meal - definitely 5 star!

Dumplings here is a goto place for me and it never fails to impress my guests and friends who come to wolli creek.I had their noodles too. Fine and they are handmade. Even better when you have it on a cold winter day or night!Their soup is soulful and warms your soul. I like it clear and tasty.

Most definitely a slept on restaurant in the Wolli Creek vicinity, I never thought this restaurant would ever have food this delicious, and with great service too. We had the maopo tofu, XO chicken fried rice, and prawn dumplings, and they were all cooked to perfection. Prices were also reasonable, given that some of the portions are pretty large, though there is a surcharge for card payments. The prawn dumplings arrived quickly, and we ate it up very quickly. There was a bit of a wait for the next two dishes to be served, which definitely made me feel a lot hungrier. The maopo tofu arrived, and it was definitely one of the best maopo tofu ive ever had, it’ll sit on my list of top 3 maopo tofus in Sydney for sure. The fried rice came a while after we were halfway through the tofu, and it was pretty good. It was basically fried rice cooked in the sauce with mixed vegetables and bits of chicken here and there, though not as much as I expected. At the end of it though, we were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the service too. I’ll return at some point to try the other items on the menu.

Pretty good JML special dumplings. I like the crispy base. Only problem is the thick bun makes it taste a bit bland and it's far too filling for an entree.
