Lotus Double Bay
Great modern Cantonese dishes in Sydney, which you can’t find it in the Eastern suburb. The baked lobster and bbq pork are superb. And you can’t beat their calamari!!Attentive and warm service. Overall, it’s a great dining experience.And some diners have table-carved Peking duck. It looks so nice and would love to try next time.

cozy restaurant, attentive service.Oyster with lime granite are must-try, great much with Margaret liver Chardonnay.and pork with garlic chive dumplings are flavorful.However, lobster tail and sweet sour pork with pineapple are average.

Overall quality of the food here is great, I was happy with everything I ordered from their menu, and I ordered 17 things in total. The portion of the food was quite big, which I was happy with.

Lotus Double Bay
Tried the 10course yumcha today which is $55pp and a nice way to try many different dishes from the venue. The food was mostly very pleasant, the smoked duck pancakes was quite dry. But other than that everything else was quite enjoyable and well presented, altho none of the dishes had that differentiating wow factor.We are small eaters, and the restaurant was kind enough to allow us to takeaway the dishes we couldn't finish.Finally a positive change in the higher end restaurants since covid.The mocktail was nice.The service was efficient, in particular the 2 male staff, probably the manager was helpful and friendly.The ambiance hasn't changed much from when the place used to be a steakhouse, and still quite dark.

Lotus Double Bay
Lotus Double Bay is satisfying food at reasonable prices. We shared the ‘jade banquet’ for two at $69 per person. This Lotus restaurant would be good for locals living in Double Bay, but not worth travelling to when you can go to Lotus at Barrangaroo on the water with much better quality food, service and atmosphere – Don’t assume all Lotus restaurants are of the same standard.

Lotus Double Bay
We used to come here a fair bit. But the new menu is a massive step backwards. I wouldn’t come back here again - used to be a once a monther. Duck is over expensive for what you actually get, removed the best items on the menu we used to love, stretched staff (not their fault) and new items don’t make up for what used to be a great range. Sorry - hope you take this as honest feedback - I guarantee we’re not the only ones thinking the same.

Lovely experience , such nice ambience, service is impeccable, glass always full and the food never disappoints. New menu is great , I do miss the eggplant salad though, hope that comes back. Other than that - just perfect

Lotus Double Bay
This place is amazing. We sat down and waited what seemed to be 10 minutes for them to take the drink order, but it was Saturday, and they were busy. From the moment they took our drinks and food order the service and food flowed. The service is second to none and I jokingly said to one of the waitresses to stop smiling. This is one of those little gems you just have to try. Great good, service and atmosphere AAAAA+++++
