Tokyo Bird is an incredible establishment and I’m shocked it took me this long to find it. Great selection of whiskey, snacks were delightful and the staff Yoshi & Sonya were so incredibly knowledgeable and informative. If I’m not going here on a weekly basis from now on I’ll be shocked. Keep up the great work team, my new favourite bar in Sydney.

Got take out laksa and the noodles come in a solid slug in the laksa with instructions on how to cook them yourself. Defeats the point of take away in my mind and food was cold by the time they were cooked.At absolute minimum should be listed so you know before you purchase.

We came there and no inside seating available for us(2ppl) so we have to seat outside which is fine. Unfortunately they don't have much tables inside, but the outdoors seating provided with heaters on. I'm not sure if they understaffed or what but at that time the staffs wasn't really helpful with our orders. Since we seat outside its very hard to reach them and we have to go inside or wait until 1 of them come out if we have any enquires. First we ordered Chefs special gyoza which is nice but can't really taste the prawn. Okonomiyaki that was quiet disappointing because its very dry unlike usual. Fried rice a bit tasteless but it was still good and stone grill katsu is the best from our foods. Waiting time quiet long around 20-25 mins.

Had a quick dinner there - the salmon donburi was nicely sized but had the whelk nigiri too and that felt curiously undersized. Nice atmosphere

Don’t know what all these reviews are complaining about. Yes the noodles come uncooked but by cooking them yourself they’re incredibly fresh and taste amazing. Best Laksa I’ve ever had, ordered it many times and have never had any issues

Great Japanese izakaya with a simple, but well thought out menu. The yakitori is especially good (but we'd probably up the rating to 5 stars if they had *teba* on offer). Kamayaki (grilled fish head) was on the menu, and it's a great favourite of ours (try it if you've never had it!).

Food was very good! It’s a cute little izakaya, I love the design/poster/vibe in this store!! Would definitely love to visit soon!
