Conveyor belt sushi restaurant

This place is a fraud. We made an order through an app scanning a barcode on the table. The app has certain prices for the sushi. Then they bring the sushi on plates, some of which correspond to higher prices than the prices on the menu. We caught them on that, we talked to 3 different staff members and they were not at all surprised. They admitted that they do it regularly, but still wanted us to pay the higher price.

Since moving to the area late last year Sushi Train at Murrumba Downs has become a regular stop for me and my friends. I personally have been astounded by the customer service and the standard the team hold themselves to. Best Sushi Train I’ve been to this side of town. Keep up the great work!

I love Onaki Sushi. The price is reasonable and the food is great. The salmon is always fresh-tasting. The bento box is alsopriced reasonably compared to other sushi places in the area. We keep coming back here all the time and definitely will keep coming back!

The food is absolutely delicious and worth the price, the customer service is very polite and friendly. Food arrived quickly and it was overall a great experience, would recommend!

The sushi is good but the seats are completely filthy. It's disgusting. The booths with the fabric sears are covered in old food and stains its so gross they need to organise a steam cleaner to fix it asap. Also the service is terrible it says please wait to be seated but no one seats you so everyone stands at the entrance like an idiot. Good food but below average experience

My daughter selected a plate of spring rolls from the train. As it turns out they were stone cold and completely inedible. I mentioned it to the staff member as we was leaving and he told me that we should order them fresh if we like them hot, as some customers like them cold. Sounds like a recipe for food poisoning to me. But I said to him that was no worries and that we will make sure we do that in future. I then realised he wrote up all the plates on our ticket, including the cold spring rolls. I took the ticket to the front counter and mentioned it to the lady there. She gave me the same spiel about ordering fresh from the train. Again, I said no worries, we will do that in future. She then spent about 30-40 seconds ringing up different amounts and plates which did not seem to correlate with my order, but I just thought she was putting through the spring rolls and then marking them off so they would not be paid for. After I left, I realised she charged me way too much. Not only was I charged for all plates, I was charged extra. Dishonest and fraudulent behaviour from these people. Terrible, cold (and potentially dangerous) food. We won’t be back.

My daughter and I love going here as the food is always lovely, fresh and tasty. The restaurant is clean and has a great vibe. We really enjoy being able to pick out what we want to eat as is goes past. Sometimes the choices can be a little limited, if you're not there during a peak time, but you can pick whatever you're feeling like from the menu and it will be made and brought to you. Prices are very reasonable.

Just ok. This is my friends favourite sushi place but when I went to try it myself for dinner tonight I wasn't impressed. I ordered takeaway so could not pick off the line myself. Ingredients were fine but the assembly was very sloppy. Rice paper roll was more like a rice paper sandwich. Tuna cucumber sushi was 80% tuna 2% cucumber - ratio is key and this was way off, and all of the sushi roll slices fell apart making me think they weren't assembled properly. What I did love was the tempura vegetables but for $7 I think you should get a little more. Didn't hit the spot for me tonight and I was really craving a good sushi roll. I'll go to Carindale next time.

Soya ramen noodle awesome taste, superb soup base, chicken taste great and nicely cooked noodles! Although it was served in small bowl ;-) lolAwesome friendly staff and a very conversant chef!Cheers guys!

Always great sushi. Fresh and delicious. They even have a reward/loyalty card now which is great when you spend over a certain amount you get a stamp. Always very busy though so hard to get a seat sometimes. But even the takeaway food is great! Highly recommend!
