Great Japanese izakaya with a simple, but well thought out menu. The yakitori is especially good (but we'd probably up the rating to 5 stars if they had *teba* on offer). Kamayaki (grilled fish head) was on the menu, and it's a great favourite of ours (try it if you've never had it!).

A cute and intimate dining space with delicious food and attentive service. Highly recommend the edamame, school prawns and the yakitori (chicken thigh and wagyu were our favourites). A great addition to the Cremorne dining scene!

The food is amazeballs.Lots of options for all palletes i particularly loved the Wagyu and pork belly skewers, cucumber salad.I'll be there weekly.Atmosphere can be private.Options for recessed tables where you de shoe.Lovely staff too.Yum Yum

Incredible food, wonderful atmosphere and the perfect place to meet friends for drinks and delicious snacks.We had dinner here last night and all of us were blown away by every plate of food.It really reminded me of the seasonal and beautifully prepared food we ate in Japan and is a really authentic Japanese experience right here in Sydney.

Overall it was okay experience and value for money. It was a bit noisy, overheated and the food was a little bland and average including the presentation of the dishes. As a party if 4, we ordered a mix of dishes incl burnt butter edamame, miso, grilled mushrooms, zucchini, mixed sashimi, teriyaki salmon and beef casserole. Everything was ok but I was a little disappointed after reading all the rave reviews. Would I go again? Probably not.

Truly Authentic Japanese Izakaya!!Each dishes are flavoursome and generous portions. The staff are hardworking and attentive. Nice and cozy atmosphere made me feel like I'm back in Japan.Highly recommend.

First time visitors. Some of the options are challenging (gizzards). We had set menu. Most of it enjoyable, perhaps too many salads.
