Excellent service, great products and quick delivery.

I wanted to buy a board from Padi which was on sale. I mailed with him one day before several times and arranged a pick up time. I drove there 30 minutes and when I arrived he said sorry its already sold this morning. And then he came up with some excuse like I thought it was you. So while I can't say anything about the quality of the Kite school I certainly can't recommend to buy kite stuff from Padi...

Had a lovely chat with Gail as I was checking out. Visited here to bring home some local surf swag for my groms back home. Wonderful collection of boards, skate and surf and kayaks. Makes me wish I had enough time here to take a run at some swell. Clearly, she's a legend in the sport and a bit of a pioneer in women's surfing. Thanks Gail!

My Wife and I purchased a speedy 2 hiking tent and two sleeping mats. Delivery was fast and we were able to track its progress. After receiving we realised that one of the mats was too big for the tent that we had selected.We contacted Novapro to find out what our options were. We were able to send the mat that was too large back for an exchange of a smaller size. Dealing with Novapro was fantatstic, we experienced great communication via email in organising our exchange mat. My Wife and I tested out our newly purchased hiking gear over the weekend. The Tent was an absolute breeze to set up and the mats were very comfortable to sleep on. Packing up the gear was equally delightful and the tent and mats fitted back into their carry bags. We experienced light rain over the weekend but were kept dry inside the tent with no leaks. We will be shopping again at Novapro Sports. Highly recommend this business!

The place is well stocked and so convenient for someone living in Brisbane. Nice old fashioned feel to the place and the staff are very helpful - the repair service also did an excellent job on my board. Unfortunately I cannot give anymore than 2 stars as I was verbally abused by Gail - albeit I was asking if I could purchase something shortly after close of business - nonetheless I don't believe this sort of behaviour is appropriate or should be tolerated in a retail setting in Australia.

SurfConnect is the perfect place if you want to learn to kiteboard, refresh your skills, or find gear rentals to get you back out on the water!! I came here for a refresher lesson after a year off kiting, and I had an incredible lesson with Mark. We walked through the gear setup to refresh me, and then he got me back out on the water quickly but with all the knowledge I needed to get me right back up and riding. He worked hard the whole time but with great humor and just the right tips for what I was working on. I cannot say enough good things about my experience!! Gear was also high-quality and in perfect condition. Padi, who runs the business, is also incredibly nice and had all the right touches to make it a great personalized experience, including getting me a slightly warmer wetsuit than the one I had brought and even giving me homemade Vietnamese coffee :-). The spot is also great for kiting - wide-open mudflats and a steady wind. Check these guys out!!!

10/08/22 - To reply to your response you made today, that is completely incorrect, there’s a difference between giving advise and being down right rude. I think the owner of the business needs to go take some lessons about customer service - I had only been wind surfing for about a year when I had wrote the original review below and I’ve had far better advise online and talking with the windsurfing community. Hopefully you can take this review humbly and change the way you treat your customersI’m a beginner windsurfer and I went into the store today (20/12/21) as I’ve bought some 2nd hand good nic gear. Shop owner was very disrespectful and wouldn’t help me with the few enquires I had.Hope there’s improvement with customer service. I’ll just stick to online shopping for now.

Great shop, great atmosphere, wouldn't bother going anywhere else for surfing, skating and sailing gear. Gail is one in a million!
