I wanted to buy a board from Padi which was on sale. I mailed with him one day before several times and arranged a pick up time. I drove there 30 minutes and when I arrived he said sorry its already sold this morning. And then he came up with some excuse like I thought it was you. So while I can't say anything about the quality of the Kite school I certainly can't recommend to buy kite stuff from Padi...

SurfConnect is the perfect place if you want to learn to kiteboard, refresh your skills, or find gear rentals to get you back out on the water!! I came here for a refresher lesson after a year off kiting, and I had an incredible lesson with Mark. We walked through the gear setup to refresh me, and then he got me back out on the water quickly but with all the knowledge I needed to get me right back up and riding. He worked hard the whole time but with great humor and just the right tips for what I was working on. I cannot say enough good things about my experience!! Gear was also high-quality and in perfect condition. Padi, who runs the business, is also incredibly nice and had all the right touches to make it a great personalized experience, including getting me a slightly warmer wetsuit than the one I had brought and even giving me homemade Vietnamese coffee :-). The spot is also great for kiting - wide-open mudflats and a steady wind. Check these guys out!!!

This past weekend I went for my first stand up paddle boarding group lesson. I was so impressed with the thoughtful and kind tuition from Padi! It was not long until I was standing up and getting the hang of it. I loved every minute, so much so I’ll be doing it this coming weekend again!

The Surf Connect manager and crew have been a pleasure to deal with ever since I took up the sport of kite boarding. They are always available for me to ask questions and talk about the sport. The private lessons are well worth it, the instructors are very knowledgeable and can explain the little details in an easy way to understand. The kiting equipment they sell is amazing, and the support they provide is second to none. Good businesses are hard to come by and Surf Connect is one I will be using and recommending for many years to come.Happy Kiting

We had an introductory wind surfing lesson with Surf Connect. The experience was great. Our instructor (Chris) was excellent in explaining everything and the boss (Padi) was a really friendly guy to deal with. Overall highly recommended!

Had an amazing time during my introduction to wingfoiling lesson. Dylan was a great instructor and Padi made us feel very welcome. Will definitely continue to wingfoil going forward and I recommend anyone trying the sport for the first time to do a lesson with Surf Connect.

I had couple lessons here already. Had a really great time, definitely a good place to start of learning or try out different water sports. I had Dylan and Padi as my instructor, both are awesome tutors. They are patient and experienced tutors. Will definitely come again and recommend to anyone wants to try out water sport in Queensland, cuz what a waste if you visit Queensland but have never try out water sports.

I moved to Brisbane having not Kitesurfed for 20yrs, feeling distantly old and rusty! Padi and the team were awesome, after a few refresher lessons, they sorted me out with some great value top notch Liquid Force equipment and I gained confidence.Yet, the best thing about Surfconncet was yet to come... there is a community that Padi has built up at Sandgate and is where the real value of surf connect lies. They host mini adventures around the best spots in Brisbane. Of course this takes time and energy and deep engrained local knowledge to organise. When you buy kit or get involved with SC lessons, you access this knowledge.Lastly, when my 9yrold son was interested in starting to fly power kites, Padi took the time to help me with equipment and how to teach kids... he’s loving it! Thanks Surfconncet for reconnecting me and the next generation with a sport I love...

This is a VERY good location and awesome set of instructors!! Everything went smooth from booking the lesson with Padi to getting into the water with Gavin and practicing my water start. Felt I had made so much progress on those 2 hours. Highly recommended and thanks Surfconnect team! looking forward to come back for another run.
