5 months wait. Super disappointed.Alloy chrome is fine. Die cast.... Don't even bother... Total waste of money

Called ahead to make sure they had what I wanted. Friendly staff and excellent products.

To say my experience with Chris at Albury Electroplatershas been terrible would be an understatement. He is oneof the least professional, most dishonest and downrightdeceitful people, let alone businesses that I've ever hadthe displeasure of dealing with.I entrusted Chris with all of the nuts, bolts and a numberof small components from my vintage car, and he notonly didn't do the work, he couldn't even give them backto me. Chris lost almost everything, only being able topresent back to me a couple of bolts and one small piece.This was insulting more than anything. Over the course ofthe last 2 years, he has promised to remunerate andmake it right (even though most of these components arerare / impossible to find) but has since shied away, noteven answering our phone calls.Chris, if your reading this, I hope you have a terrible dayand I would implore anyone not to go near him. You'dquite literally be better off throwing your bits down thedrain and keeping your money.

Did an excellent job of plating a set of antique steel handles and custom nails for a dresser that I went back for another excellent job of plating a pair cast iron picture frames. If you are not sure of what finish you want, they are very knowledgeable on what plating finish would be best for the item.

I had a side mirror chrome plated with these guys and I must say they did a brilliant job!. The stem was in need of some welding due to it being broken and it was badly corroded (see the before and after pics)) Most shops I've asked don't event weld this type of metal cast, so I was really relieved having it done in the same place!

The only Chrome Plater that I will use, excellent Quality, Excellent Service.

I called Caswell enquiring about a product and spoke with Paul. He was helpful and understood the products he was selling. My order was shipped and received quite quickly, and the products (Black Oxide,Aluminum Blackener and Sealer) gave results better than I expected.After receiving my order, I called back with a billing enquiry. Even though I had already paid for and received my order, this enquiry was handled promptly. This was great, as now days, it seems typical of many businesses, to need numerous reminders to address admin type issues.Though I have only made one order from Caswell, their service and product was exceptional and worth recommending.
