The staff member I dealt with wasn't just a professional, but also a good-natured person in general. Travelling an hour to get to a bike shop might seem like a waste of time to the majority of people, but I honestly feel this shop offers the best customer service in all of Melbourne. Most of the time in the SouthEastern suburbs customer service is basic but nothing to write home about. In the family business of Ray, you instantly feel someone cares about your needs and they genuinely smile and chat with you like they care not just because it’s their job and they’re getting paid to do it like so many other bike shops I’ve been to. I bought my first brand new mountain bike there yesterday and I can say I am so happy that I gave my money to them over another bike shop. Well worth the travel to be around people who care about you and tell you the truth and don’t just wait for you to get out the door. M1 cycles is they best bike shop I have found up and down the Bruce highway. The staff are knowledgeable and they have a great product selection.
