Tasmania I Drive

We had a brilliant series of day trips and long distance drive with Rob including an incredible hike in Freycinet National Park. Rob is professional, organised and very knowledgeable. He always ensured everyone including our young children had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

Rob of i-Drive Tasmania created an amazing tour for the four of us (two couples). Rob was knowledgeable, personable and full of stories. His vehicle was roomy and clean, as were the accommodations he booked for us. And he was always early for our daily pickups. He squeezed so much into our four and a half day tour. We saw wildlife, animal sanctuaries, waterfalls, hiking trails, markets, big trees, great vistas, cool murals and we are still talking about the last lunch we had before heading to the airport.Do yourself a favour and check out i-Tours Tasmania!

What a holiday ! Tasmania is sure a place I'll be going back to and using the same company, Tasmania idrive. Their depth of knowledge regarding the best spots to see was comprehensive, the flexibility to adapt if I wanted a longer stay was great and I came back feeling refreshed and excited , thank you for a great holiday.

A fantastic holiday thanks to Rob, our expert guide to Tasmania. He took us on an amazing personalised 8-day adventure to see nature and wildlife, and many interesting things around the island. We had a great time going on nature trails, spotting animals, visiting caves and learning about the history and economy of the region. The kids truly enjoyed the trip and learnt a lot at the same time.

My wife and I went on a private bespoke tour of Tasmania from 26 Oct to 6 Nov 2018. The itinerary was proposed by Rob Cooper, Owner, and driver/guide of Tasmania I-Drive. The complete journey covering approximately 2800 km by road was fairly relaxed. Rob brought us to most of Tassies’ famous landmarks and places of interest including Port Arthur, Wineglass Bay, Cradle Mountain and The Nut at Stanley. We also enjoyed wine and whisky tastings and tours of the historical properties Clarendon and Highfield. We were glad to engage Rob as our driver/guide for the trip. Besides a safe driver, he was also knowledgeable on flora and fauna and was able to share his knowledge with us along the way. He was also very patient and flexible and accommodated our requests to changes to the itinerary during the journey. We wish to thank Rob for a safe, wonderful and memorable trip.

We had 5 spectacular days with Rob. We went to Bruny island and Maria Island--and saw 7 wombats, a giant kangaroo and wallabies. My 9 year old grandson loved the tours--it was a wonderful way to spend our vacation and see this beautiful island!! Thank you Rob

What a fabulous touring experience!! Spent 10 days touring the island and saw much more in the allotted time than we could have achieved on a self-drive tour. All accommodation was first class and sightseeing and other experiences had been customised to our specific requirements. Could not recommend this company more highly! Our tour guide had a very expansive local knowledge.
