Mountain pass

I imagine this wouldn't normally be much of a site, however 10cm of snow had just fallen, enough to build a 5' snowman.

I think this is one of the best places to see whales in Australia

Paradise on earth. Enjoyed an amazing time snowboarding at Charlottes Pass in July 2022. Absolutely stunning location. The override snow trip was an adventure unto it's self, such amazing scenery. Limited numbers on the slopes, so no waiting at the gates. Great mix of runs too. Love to see this place in summer.

Great roads for motorcycle trips

A must do walk in the Blue Mountains. Hard level

Google maps doesn't take you to where the car park and picnic spot is...so keep going a little further and you will eventually see where to drive into. We were here June 2023 and there hasn't been much rain of late so any potential swimming spots were shallow. Not much good for bushwalking as the tiny trickle of a river is surrounded on both sides by steep terrain. A serene place to stop and look around for a little while, though I wouldn't picnic here. No amenities here...tables, toilets, lighting etc. Better off heading to the small town of Builyan that has recreation grounds and public toilets with showers that were extremely clean.
