My favourite shop in the whole wide world.. staff are amazing... stock is so varied... I have my favourite spots, like fabric, wool, habby, crafts, linen, curtain fabric... did I say fabric?If you are a member, they send an email out every week regarding amazing specials just for Sat and Sun... well worth checking them out.

Awesome store!! I love Spotlight but often find there are many unpriced items (and have to go to a price checker). This one is huge, really well stocked and everything I looked at had prices. Good job!!

July 2022: six months in and this place is now just like any other superstore spotlight. Gone is the character filled CBD store, and in with the soleless boring retail box store. The team are however super friendly and helpful and their stock range seems to have expanded.Opening 17th December 2021

Spotlight Glenorchy
A spacious department store for material needs such as stationery, craft, bedding, kitchenware, fabric and much much more. The only shop of its kind here in Hobart. I am a bit obsessed with the stationery range, a great range of pens, craft paper, washi tape, back to school supplies - really all you could ask for. I love coming here with friends to explore and for all my crafty needs!

It's fine. Great range of sewing and fabric related products, but besides that most items were mediocre. The staff were helpful which was definetly important as things aren't labelled very well. There aren't any isle numbers meaning actually finding products can be somewhat tricky. Overall the experience could be better but I do recommend it if you're looking for sewing related products.
