These guys did a really great job on my van, which required a new door actuator for an old model VW. Sourced a part that was very hard to find, kept me in the loop the whole time, charged a fair price and did a great job. Great service.

A bit of mixed feelings, hence the 3 stars.Pros:They were able to accept my booking to replace an alternator within 1 hour noticeThey did the job in half an hourI think his name was Dave was very friendly and explained everything in detailThe job was well doneCONS:I arrived at 12.45 for 1pm booking. Dave started work on my car at 1.15. He finished and handed it back to me at 1.45. I was charged the full hour of $120+ GST equaling $132.I feel that they were a bit dishonest when it comes to the costing of their labour. If they have a minimum charge of 1 hour, this was not explained to me at all.I would like to return for further work but I will clarify pricing further before committing.

I recently asked Aaron if he could have a look at a long standing fault with my Jaguar XJ8. Two other garages had tried to fix the problem but couldn't. I recently had my 2 cars repaired by Aaron and was very happy with the job. The first car required re-gas on the air conditioning, and the second car Aaron helped me to fit supplied door lock actuators. Very pleased to find a good and reliable auto electrician locally, thank you!

Needed an electrical issue sorted on my 05 XR6 ute.Issue was bugging me for days, looked around penrith for auto electrician close to where i worked on batt street.Ivan Brown auto was the closet so gave them a shot.Looked up reviews on google and there were a few negative ones so I was worried.Clearly the reviews are made by fake accounts and are not genuine as I didn't have any issues at all.Wonderful receptionist and the boys that fixed my car had industry leading knowledge had the car fixed in mere hours for me.Price was expected and fair in my opinion.Thanks Guys, I appreciate the good service.

Called two days in a row to be told I'd get a call back by the mobile auto electrician.Second day it was supposed to be within the next fifteen minutes.Day three and I am still waiting.I appreciate if he is busy but it would still be good customer service to let me know.Not impressed.Don't bother .Found someone else.

Complete rip off!!!! Lying about work completed, could not back up claims & massively overcharged.Asked to remove a faulty mfd instrument cluster and send it to specialised technician in seven hills for service, even gave them his number and some others but they didn't call anyone I asked.Instead they advised I needed a second hand unit and asked if I wanted to chase one up myself and save some money, which I did. After I had purchased the second hand unit for $270 ($250 saving from them) they ten advised me that the VW technician told them i needed a complete new unit worth $1200 and was a 4 week wait from Germany. Plus the VW technician had to make a service call out to me and reprogram the new unit and keys to my car which was an additional $450. Plus Ivan Brown fees mentioned later.All Ivan brown did was remove the cluster which is 2 screws and cleaned the electrical circuit board behind it (I think with air gun) but claimed they cleaned all the wiring behind and under the dash and floor area somehow without removing anything but the cluster... how is this possible I asked?I was also charged $65 for VW VCDS diagnostic check (I had told them what the fault was so that was pointless) and $200 for 1.45 hours labour but they failed to back up what they did to justify that much time spent! Furthermore, this was all done by a sub contracted mobile mechanic, as they said they were short staffed.In the end, I had the car towed to Specialised Automotive Electronics in Seven Hills (who I told Ivan Brown to call initially) who fixed it in 3 days for $250 plus the second hand cluster I had provided under Ivan Browns instructions.
