Ski school

We had an absolutely amazing time here. Snow play and tobogganing were on the agenda, and it was great with a toddler.We rented snow clothes, and I would say that the largest sizes don't cater to people over a size 18/20 in women's. They also don't cater well for people with smaller waists than hips. Not a big issue at all - just something to keep in mind.Food options are limited and expensive, so best to bring your own or plan for an expensive meal.We will definitely be back!

Showed us in our last year, that they weren't looking to help us students succeed. Removed our ability to leave to go somewhere to study comfortably when teacher was absent. Instead forced us to stay in the noisy, social anxiety-inducing classroom with an unqualified random to do the rollcall, then sit there on their phone for 75 minutes. I would have had 135 total free classes in year 12. Each subject has 95 classes.I was so scared of teachers, when I was late, I would rather hide in the toilets till the class finished than have to walk in late.

Ski hire, cafe and patrol station. Hire shop has large range of styles with great service. Cafe great pastries and awesome hot chocolate.Make sure you let patrol know your intentions when skiing

Jane was a very good and patient teacher, even with a group of 5 kids. She knew all the tricks that makes cross country skiing fun for them. It turned out to be a very good (and cheaper) alternative way to get them started on skiing. Also gave the rest of the grown ups very helpful tips and techniques to improve their skiing.

Went there by MTB in February, it’s locked and everything seemed to be abandoned. We needed water to continue the Epic trail, but there were no water station at all along the whole trail. We used the tap water in the toilet here.

We found off-piste after a friend recommended this sort of thing for getting ski fit and strengthening after injuries.It takes a bit to get used to but 15 mins will have those muscles you only use skiing burning. Plan to get up to 30 mins before I go to the slopes this year.Should definitely improve the ski experience this year and is also a lot of fun.

I have been skiing a long time, including taking a year off to ski bum many years ago, so I thought that I was as good of a skier as I was ever going to be. I also thought that the way to get better was to ski hard runs over and over. Wrong on both counts! By skiing easier runs, but focusing on specific drills, I’m finally able to carve my turns. My balance is better, my confidence is way up, and when I look at pictures of myself, my form looks a lot better in photos. What I like about the BPS approach is that it’s very positive - instead of focusing on what I’m doing wrong, I just get shown how to do it right. Skiing is more fun for me now than ever, and I enjoy skiing easier runs again because they give me the chance to work on things. Can’t wait for next season to start!

I have been a member of Big Picture skiing for a couple of years now. At first I was looking for some tips to improve my mogul skiing. I found some excellent videos that helped. However, I found so much more and really saw my skiing improve when I delved deeper into some of Tom's very basic instructional videos on body movement and alignment. I would recommend start there. Tom's video's are excellent. I use many of his drills on a regular basis. If you want to understand the fundamentals well and learn how to practice with good drills and exercises then Big Picture is the site for you. I passed my CSIA Level 1 this year easily and thanks goes to Tom and his instruction. He really helped me become a better and more consistent skier. And I can ski moguls much better as well!!
