My parents bought a hot water service it was a rinnai it broke down after 18 months and parts are not covered after 12 months so beware of this it cost them $375 to fix as the company wipes there hands of it and on the pension its tough so beware of this please deal with them if ya want but not me

I would like to express my utter disappointment on the service provided by RINNAI for our evaporative system that is still under warranty. Its been faulty since the 11th of February. The fault also caused leaking in our kitchen ceiling. Another issue to deal with. We have had technician come to fix only the water pipe the first time and when we complaint again, we were told about the parts that were needed.Since then we have been waiting. In spite of requesting that I also suffer from a medical condition and need the cooling, leave alone my family suffering in this hot weather.

Do not buy a Rinnai 650 gas log fire heater. It has two halogen lamps in it for effect, and they blow annually.I have had my log fire for 3 years and am up to my third set of globes. They only last for 2,000 hours and can only be purchased from Rinnai Spare Parts through a retailer. They cost $AU82.00 each. This is an astronomical cost. Other similar oven globes are only $20.00.I have not found it easy to communicate with Rinnai Australia in regards to this matter.Rosalie Rolfe

Ridiculously long hold times. Call centre staff are rude and have zero phone etiquette. Couldn’t care less about you or even remotely try to help. Great products, but I’m sure the Japanese head office would be appalled at this level of customer service associated with their brand!
