The Mez Club
The Mez Club is worth a visit. The atmosphere is fantastic with its unique architecture. The evening lighting was subdued which I enjoy - that said I must try for a Sat or Sun lunch when its open for lunch as well. As important the food was also exceptional. Staff were great. We had a number of dishes as the menu is extensive - all were great. Will visit again.

Had a delicious dinner, the pumpkin dip and haloumi were particularly good. Yummy drinks, including non-alcoholics. Such beautiful decor, with a really nice ambiance. Staff were really friendly too.

The dishes are very flavoursome, not your typical Mediterranean food, a little modernised. I did find a rubber in my food, the restaurant did replaced it promptly. Nice vibe.

Beautiful food in a very relaxing setting. Mocktail was my favourite in Byron, spicy and delicious! Staff were attentive and excellent.

Had their feed me menu on a Friday night and the food was excellent! The service of food was probably a bit on a slow side but all in all the experience was excellent. I thought there were proportionally greater number of vegetarian dishes in the offering but even as a non-vego the vegetarian dishes were cooked to perfection with varying flavour profile.I'd recommend booking and visiting The Mez if you are visiting Byron Bay°

I sat at the bar. My bartender/waitress was phenomenal and quite helpful with the menu suggestions. The hostess was helpful and had great conversation. She and I both are American so we had a lot to talk about. There was one male bartender/owner that I felt avoided any contact with me. While I am aware no one owes me their conversation, I found it off that he greeted and conversed with every person or group of people at the bar except me. I spent $140 and felt it was definitely worth it! Great food, great service, fun vibe.

This is an amazing restaurant. the ambience is on point as was the background music, the staff were great and super friendly, the cocktails were wonderful, the food was a delight we had the tasting menu, and all the dishes were wondeful. I loved it and when I am back in Byron I will definitely be back hoping for a similar experience.

Crème brûlée: 10/10Confit Potatoes: 10/10, soooooo good. Cooked and seasoned perfectlyLamb: 4/10, the couscous was delicious but this entire dish was seriously lacking in seasoning and flavour. The dish should’ve been seasoned throughout the cooking process for a deeper flavour that it had none of.Gnocchi: 9/10, delicious gnocchi with a great texture and flavour. Sauce could’ve been slightly thicker for it to stick to the gnocchi more.Oyster & Scallops: 7/10, delicious but pretty overpriced let’s be real.We also had the mango chilli cocktail which was absolutely genius.

One of my favourite dining experiences during our stay in Byron. Very reasonably priced, for super quality, fine dining style food. We were seated upstairs, however it was surprisingly cool with AC and lots of fans. Full house on a Saturday night, so glad we booked a table. They catered for lots of dietaries including delicious gluten free pita, and a big drinks menu too incl. alcohol free beer. Overall the vibe was awesome too, with a live DJ playing at a volume where you could still talk to your dining partners without shouting.
