Visiting son, he took us to Racers, so glad he did.Very warm and inviting inside, staff members are friendly and helpful.We ordered the Butter Chicken Curry, very good portions, and very tasty. Also a homemade Sausage Roll, plenty of filling. I ordered the Frittata Slice, served with salad, delicious.We ordered hot chocolates, choc milkshake and a coffee.Samia makes a cracking coffee.Very highly recommend a visit, you can also sit outside and view the Lake.

We had an amazing meal and service was fantastic. They stuffed up one of the meals but quickly fixed it within minutes so all was good in the world. I didn’t get the best pictures but we have the pasta, steak sandwich and everything was just lovely. The sauce of the steak sandwich was amazing!!!

What a wonderful location! Right across from the lake and beautiful building. Lots of inside and outdoor tables. The staff were friendly and were doing their best but were overwhelmed by the amount of people. They forgot one of our orders but made it up with a refund. Maybe because there was a concert the night before or just the fine weather.We waited over an hour for our meals which were average. They looked slapped together with lack of attention to detail and flavour. Eggs cooked too much. No garnish or presentation or just poorly prepared. Shame as they were trying their best.I will go back for another try sometime when it’s a bit quieter.

Lovely place. I had a home pie. Cook was off sick. So limited choices. Coffee good. Pie was cold and rather sad. No taste.

Met friends here for lunch. Nice selection on menu from toaties to meals as well as display case with quick options n cakes. Good amount of seating inside and out, some looking towards the lake. It's popular so I suggest booking esp on weekends public hols. I had the frittata n salad which was excellent with a good coffee. My friends enjoyed their options as well.

Been here multiple times now. Food is always great, staff are always friendly. Place is dog friendly and the people are always so nice. I had the B.L.A.T Veggie with a banana milkshake. My partner had the eggs on toast with a hash brown and a coffee milkshake. We both enjoyed our meals.

Great coffee and food however the young front of house staff are often talking very loudly about their personal lives, swearing, getting visibly frustrated with equipment/systems and overall acting unprofessionally in front of customers. Seems like they need a senior manager. Very uncomfortable and dissatisfying to hear and see.

One of the greatest cafes in Ballarat to sit outside with, especially if it's perfect weather with a warm breeze. My Mum and 5 year old enjoyed iced drinks and the small playground afterwards which is just across the road. It is a really pretty, and colourful cafe across the stunning lake. Wheelchair access. Love it!
