Really fresh fish and delicious extra ingredients. The tumeric/coconut rice and shoyu sauce is the best combo!!

I’m a little shocked that I payed $27 for rice. I think it’s worth trying once though. I enjoyed the Demi glacé sauce. The serving sizes are huge!Edit: I noticed the owners have replied. I dined at lunch on the 7th of July. Not sure what the prices are now for lunch.

This is my first visit. I have been told that salmon and tuna are no more but if I'm after seafood, there is tiger prawn. Not a problem. While I'm figuring out what other ingredients I want for my healthy lunch. I got told that if I want tuna, they have this one that prepared wrongly about 5 minutes ago. Again, not a problem. This probably safe me from figuring out what to form my lunch. The good thing is that I received discount for this. $5 off. Win win.I'm not liking what I'm having. It has tuna, pumpkins, cucumbers, baby spinach, ginger, brown rice, chilli and etc. Not sure what's the dressing. The regular size is rather big. Next time I know to go with small. It's really unfortunate. I'm sure if I ordered what I really want to eat, it is going to taste a lot better. I will give this place another try.Staffs are very friendly.

Never going to order from Nosh again. Got a regular serving when I paid for large. Service was very, very poor as they let people jump the line making everyone else wait 20 minutes. Disappointed that such a good place has gone downhill

Officially rating it 3.5 stars. Very nice service, not a long wait. Reasonable price the thing that prevented it from being 5 stars was that when eating the Oumrice (pictured) there was a flavour that just kept getting through that was strange and unpleasant but not enough for me to stop eating entirely, and then the catalyst MUSHROOMS. Who puts mushrooms in fried rice? I deduced that that was the off flavour coming through and once I seen them all at the bottom of the rice simultaneously biting into one I politely spat it back out and that was it I was done and out the door. Mushrooms are so gross and it’s not made me feel sick. Again everything else was perfect so it still gets 3.5 stars and if they change the recipe in the future to exclude the fungus then I shall be back.

Lovely service, freshly cooked chicken and loved watching the egg get cut open.Flavour wasn’t really there though and not a big fan of the rice. Plus food took a while to come out even though it was a quiet weeknight.

Staffs need to read the paperslips properly when putting ingredients. I ordered at around 1230pm today, lots of people waiting for their order. I added 3 toppings, but only given 1 added topping, other 2 added toppings were missing. Last time I added extra sauce, but no extra sauce given. Another time I noticed something is missing, told the staff, then only the missing ingredients were added. I ordered 4 times so far, 3 out if 4 times the food is not prepared as ordered.

There is something admirable about a small restaurant putting in their heart and soul to deliver something fun, delicious and different to the dining scene of Sydney city. What may be the norm in Japan can only be found in so many places here. It's hard and extremely stressful to operate in this day and age, so lend small business your support and keep the scene thriving!

Finally visited this place, after all the hype.Food was relatively good but it wasn't a huge wow factor. The price is relatively expensive for what the portion size was. Also if you order side dishes, you'll have to pay extra for sauces, eg. Mayonnaise. The ambience and service was good. Staffs were friendly. I wish there was menu option rather than scanning the QR code though. Was pretty quiet for a Friday night.

Tried the poke party- Fresh tasmanian salmon sashimi bowl. The best I have had. Filled with delicious flavours. The portion size is generous. If you pay 3 dollars you can get a large one. Worth the price. Quick service and friendly staff as well.
