Went to QBD in Brisbane City as the big Dymmocks had closed down. The staff were so helpful! I came in to find a Christmas gift with only knowing a few titles and authors as a reference of what kind of books to buy as a gift. The staff nailed the choices! She knew what she was talking about and knew so much about the books.

Kale is always on staff whenever my brother, sister and I go shopping for books+mangas we want and is extremely helpful+sweet! They may lack in size of the store compared to Dymocks a little up the street, but it compensates for being wayyyyy cheaper then Dymocks. Also has better colouring books!

I honestly just came in to kill time but I ended up finding a great book for a fair price and the gentleman that served me (I assume he was a manager) was the most delightful person. Incredible customer service

Love QBD Brisbane :) I was attended by a lovely kind staff named Geoff" he has great customer service and was greeted with a smile.He assisted me and my partner and did an in-depth explanation about their loyalty card which is awesome! even got a Naruto bag! which is awesome :)I can tell he's very passionate at what he does!So thank you Geoff for making me and my partners visit a wonderful one! I highly recommend QBD Brisbane!I will definitely keep coming back here :)"

Staff are consistently awesome, even the shy newbies, in my experience shopping here over the past few years. Typically have the book I'm after and on occassion will order in what I need.Store is located close to public transport but tucked snuggly away in the mall. Not the biggest around town but my favourite book store anywhere.

Nothing better than physically holding and reading a good book while sipping on a coffee. Great range of books in one of our last remaining physical bookshops. Very friendly and helpful staff, hoping they continue providing us with great prints and titles for many years to come!

I wish I had read reviews prior to purchasing. I bought two books that said they would be shipped in 2-3 days and delivered in 3-5 days. I ordered 10 business days prior to Christmas so, even with Australia Post delays, I should have had the books by Christmas. My order is still listed as 'processing'! I called to enquire about what is going on and after 5 minutes on hold, my call went to message bank! I left my details but no return call. I am devastated that two of my family members (husband and daughter) now won't have a Christmas present. I have now emailed and will post an updated review IF I receive a reply, which I highly doubt. I recommend buying elsewhere as I have never had this issue with other bookshops!
