Small plates restaurant

Hands down the BEST churros I've had in my life. Every element was perfect, from the sauces, to the ice cream, the churros, and even the tea. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and took the time to chat with us and have a laugh. Definitely found my new dessert go-to.

Very yummy Spanish food.I've had the churros previously and really loved them, they were fresh and the dipping sauces were delicious.This time I had the chorizo paella lunch special, it was the perfect choice for a cold day. Flavours were great, chorizo had a bit of kick and the portion was just right.Loved it!

Really interesting wine list and excellent small food to accompany. I'll be back.

Cardwell Cellars is fantastic. The owner had a selection of interesting pours available by the glass, was incredibly knowledgeable (including a history lesson about the vineyards in Morocco) and gave thoughtful recommendations. Great selection of bottles, with plenty of affordable choices too. Courtyard coming soon which will be great for summer. Will be back!

Sorry but this place has so much potential but we went last night for a friends birthday and it fell short in a number of areas. The menu was loaded fries and they were terrible. Served cold , the brisket was so fatty we couldn’t eat it. The service was slow and the staff had little interest in customer service. The toilets were dirty and the kitchen didn’t look much better. As I said the place has so much potential but I wouldn’t be recommending .

I love the food at MoneyPenny. It is delicious and the service is generally great. We have been several times before, specifically for the delicious fresh apple cocktails and the great drinks menu. Unfortunately, on tonight’s occasion, the server (blonde girl with glasses) told us she was unsure if there was room, and saw we waited, and 10 minutes later, she came around and said “I said there was no room”. I have never felt more disrespected and lied to; all we wanted was a table and we would’ve happily walked away if this was appropriately communicated to us. It is very disappointing, and no doubt we will go again, but hopefully we won’t see her.

We had a wedding cocktail party at Young George in January 2023 in their downstairs cellar, and it was fabulous! The team are professional, great to plan with, and the food and drinks selection made it easy to put an amazing night together. We had approximately 70 guests, and the venue accommodated perfectly. Susan made the process seamless and Melissa the head chef ensured that there was was plenty of delicious food for all of our guests. We had a dedicated bartender all night, and it was a brilliant party, can't thank you enough Young George!!

The food was good at De Barcelona, but for a venue where I ordered thru an app and had little contact with customer service, paid by the app, and the only thing the restaurant servers did was bring food and drinks out. They need to improve on service levels. The staff seem to have fun amongst themselves.Maybe also need to pay attention a little more attention to customers.

Absolutely fantastic service & drinks served by Ben & Lexie. Definitely recommend it as a go to place in Umina. Much better venu than Ocean Beach hotel.
