Fantastic drive up to the smow fields. Not for the faint hearted & don't even think about taking your motorhome or caravan up there. Good dirt road but very steep & tight. Great experience.

If you wish to drive to the top in winter you must carry chain and be able to fit them, also a National Parks pass is required.

Telling us we won’t need snow chains today. But then charging us $40 to hire mandatory snow chains. And refusing to accept cash for payment. Rude. Won’t be hiring anything from them next time.

Had a delicious toasted sandwich and hot chocolate from the sports centre. Equipment hire guys were also super friendly and happy to help. Lost a star for the lack of seating options inside, there was only space for maybe 6 people which I was very surprised at.

Fantastic friendly people with knowledge and staff with a good sense of humour well priced hire equipment and gear is well looked after.You can get a selection of hot food and drinks for a quiet reasonable price plenty of outdoor seating or indoor if you like to keep a little warmer.You can arrange lessons hear for ski and snowboard and can also hire toboggans
