Room 8 Pool Lounge
A semi-decent pool lounge. On initial inspection of our pool table, there was quite a lot of dirt and grime which gave the table an overall dirty look. There wasn’t any billiard chalk to rub our sticks with. The toilets look like they haven’t been cleaned in weeks, and the furniture needs to be refurbished. The music was good. Otherwise, at $20/hour, an okay place to pass a bit of time.

Good big pool tables. Felt a bit dodgy having to leave my passport while I played, but understandable after the deposit was explained to me. As you can pay for how long you play instead of for a set amount of time (which is also an option)Only really had problem with people vaping in the venue.

The place is very nice, with good tables but always the aircon is having issues. After being there for more than 10 minutes you start sweating. It would be great if they could fix the aircon.

great place to go play pool in the city!! If you go during peak hours like weekends at popular times expect at least a 10 minute wait but for the location you can easily go grab a coffee and come back and usually you're pretty good to start anyway, They also have a small scale arcade. If you're going there for the first time just make sure you're looking for escalators, they're downstairs.
