Japanese steakhouse

We recently visited Yeosin for dinner and let me start by saying what a pleasant surprise it was that there was Korean BBQ inside a Westfield!! It had such a stunning view of the city skyline as soon as you entered the dining area.The selection was quite premium and there was an extensive menu. We opted for the premium beef and pork combo set ($165 between 4 people). Hands down our favourite cuts were the spicy pork bulgogi and Marinated L.A galbi. It was so flavoursome!! Our main disappointment was that the banchan was not unlimited. The Korean Cold Noodles were also a winner since it was so refreshing to eat. The mango yakult soju was also dangerously yum, don't forget to shake it up!

It's nice to go to a restaurant that when asked about the food the reply is perfect as normal". The service is warm and welcoming and always get a happy welcome from the owner.This is my regular eatery when in Warrnambool and I always order the Chicken Caprice.When I tell people it's Chicken with Banana I get more shocked looks than warm ones but unless you have tried it then you can't judge.I agree it's different but I find it very tasty and I always look forward to it.Never take it off the menu please!!!"

Our waiter Elison was very friendly and attentive. Food and drink suggestions were perfect. Pork rib bites qnd onion ring entrees were cooked to perfection, as were the steaks. The Waygu steak was tender and perfectly cooked.The baked cheesecake rounded off the meal wonderfully.Would highly recommend.

The most underwhelming experience. Like many other reviews have highlighted, there is definitely a disconnect between what Katori is trying to be, what it is charging to be, and what it actually is.Portion sizes. I went to take a sip of my $17 drink and decided no I really need to take a photo of this before my sip finishes the drink. The photographed drink is ALL I had, in its entirety that is what I paid for. I have ordered the same drink at another restaurant for the same price with maybe 3x the amount. Ridiculous. And everything else was so small, the wagyu tacos pictured is 2x the usual portion because we had to order more. You do not get what you pay forlook IF the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD and I pay a high amount for the quality, that is okay, but this is not the case. The food is fine, not bad, not amazing, it’s okay.And the service! I know you don’t go to a restaurant for the service, but it plays a role and it was poor. You go to a restaurant for its food, and well in this restaurants case they lack of food.Honestly, if I had $1000 to spend on a meal worth $500 I would come again. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant really.

When you spend $89 for a half of lobster at nobu, that's what you gonna get.No presentation required just chuck everything into a bowl. Taste was blend. Maybe because we lost appetite by looking at it.Most disappointing lobster we've ever had.

The sashimi here is ok but not terrific, the prices are typical however the fish did not have a clean, fresh taste, it was more dry and slightly plastic. Their udon soup was a bit on the salty side and the karaage chicken was covered in sauce. Some customers enjoy this style, but overall I can only give them 3 stars for food taste. They have good service and are quick to prepare and serve.

Unfortunately we were greeted at the door by “hurry up and shut the door you are letting in the cold!” Couldn’t actually come in as there was 9 of us and she was standing in the way.She then interrogated me over the booking asking me what day I booked even though I was showing her the booking confirmation email.She then tried to force an order on us even though we were in the middle of ordering so it couldn’t be ours.Our food was amazing and the other staff were lovely but due to the greeting we first received we will never step foot in the building again due to her rudeness!!!

Yummy Japanese food nesr St Leonard’s station. Great variety of sushi choices, bentos, and bowls on offer. I had the wagyu beef steak with rice and vegetables which was really nice and healthy. Relatively quick service.

Everything in the bento box is super delicate and yummy. Each portion may look small but wash it down with a glass of bubbly it's just nice.

Chinese opearated, not korean, so expect shortcuts.Their BBQ charcoal table-top pot is non-functional and does not retain heat at all.We had to ask for the charcoal to be changed 3 times (within hour).Service was slow too...Waste of money, considering you actually boilling your wagyu meat rather than bbq.Save your money, go to an actual korean bbq operated by koreans.
