Efficient with their schedule. Never have to wait passed my appointment times. The staff are really friendly. And most importantly the dentists are great, Ive had a few different ones there and each look after you, ensure you're comfortable and are very careful. I have and would recommend this dental practice. Special thanks to Eric for the quality dental work.

Went here 6 months ago for the first time. I had 2 chipped teeth, they fixed with a filling. 2 months later 1 filling fell off and the other started to get pain as it wasn’t cleaned properly and trapped decay. Would not go here again. I never knew dentist could exist doing such bad work.

My wife and I have been visiting this clinic for some years now. The service is professional and thorough. The dentist we are seeing currently, Eric is very careful in cleaning teeth. He has patiently made sure it's relatively painless process with hard to get at places properly cleaned as well. I just had a filling and the decay was deep. The local anaesthetic injection was completely painless and the process uneventful. He explained every step of the way. The other dentist Phil was also very good but it was easier to book in an oppointment with Eric. I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic.

I've had nothing but excellent service here from all of the PCAT dentists and have been coming for a few years since moving to the area. Eric recently did my crown and was very gentle, friendly and professional. Had issues with the temp crown settling as my tooth is very worn down and he regularly called personally to check on me to make sure I was OK. The reception staff are very helpful and accommodating with my hectic work schedule and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks so much!

I have been seeing Ann twice a year for my check ups and cleans for many years. She's fantastic!! Really gentle but thorough, which is so important!! Would highly recommend!!!

I've been coming here for 5-7 years and over the last few years i've noticed appointments have been rushed and appointment times getting shorter as they are very money focused. My latest experience I had a filling which the gums surrounding the filling then got infected in the days following the appointment. I then paid more for a 5 minute consultation for the dentist to look at my gums and then prescribe me a script for antibiotics then I did for the filling itself... i'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I have been using PCAT dental for 8 years for my whole family. We love Dr. Anne Tao and the staff - all very friendly, the place is clean, they remember to remind us of our appointments and sometimes are able reschedule when booking times conflict. They are very good at what they do, professional, knowledgeable and patient with explaining things. I had an emergency tooth extraction after crunching my molar and Anne was able to get me into see her colleague the same day, who took care of it (as she wasn’t working they day) and then Anne followed up with me the next day. My daughter enjoys the visits and has never been scared or upset when on their chair, as they make it fun for the young ones, even allowing them to watch when their parents are being cleaned. All in all a great place for family dentistry. Even though we moved away from Moonee Ponds we still come back here, and will continue to do.

My toothache tormented me for a long time, and although I saw other dentists, the pain not completely resolved. Dr. Ann in PCAT, she learned about my medical history in detail, analyzed the cause, and after a period of treatment, she has completely solved my pain. I am very grateful to Dr. Ann for her medical skills and her sense of responsibility to patients.

Made an appointment at PCAT as I had a molar that had developed intermittent pain when chewing. I was booked in with Kelvin who insisted that I needed to have a teeth clean as well. After examining my sore tooth he advised that the reason I was experiencing this intermittent pain was because it was an old filling, and old fillings can swell up and cause this pain. So he filed the tooth down, and then cleaned all my teeth. The result of this tooth filing was that the pain was more frequent, and worse. I went back to PCAT and asked to see a different dentist, I saw Ann who took one look and said the reason for the pain was because the tooth is cracked, and advised they were not able to treat it as there is no way to tell how deep it is, and sent me across the road to see an Endodontist. It was going to cost $330 just for the initial consult with the Endodontist nevermind any treatment, also they couldn't see me for another month. In the meantime I thought I might get a second opinion. Upon seeing another dentist, they also saw a crack and advised I should see one of their dental specialists as cracks in teeth need to be treated by someone who has training in this. So I made an appointment to see a dentist at their other branch who could help. After his examination he advised that I had not just one, but several cracked teeth (which it turns out is from my grinding my teeth). I explained what had happened at PCAT with Kelvin - the specialist was totally gobsmacked that he was able to see all the cracks at a glance, yet Kelvin did not notice any at all - you would think you could get a pretty close up view of teeth during a teeth clean.Conclusion:1. Kelvin is too inexperienced - and too focused on the upsell2. Ann did diagnose the issue, but could have taken the time to find the other cracks, especially if she were referring me to the Endodontist across the road which cost so much money. And she could have given me other options - knowing nothing about dentistry I thought I would just have to deal with the cost and the long wait time for an appointment (is there a kick back system between the two businesses?)3. In your rebuttals to other negative reviews you advised that if the patient were unhappy with their treatment, they should return and discuss it, I did that and I am not sure I was much better off. I told Ann of my experience with Kelvin - I wonder was that feedback taken further? Was it followed through? It was only because I thought to get a second opinion that my tooth has now been treated, and have a plan in place to have the others treated as well. Otherwise I would still be waiting to see the Endodontist across the road from PCAT...
