The food has always been good. Last week was disappointing . Butter chicken had too much colour and very few pieces and kadai paneer had more onion and tomato with only a few pieces of paneer.garlic nan was overloaded with garlic. The panneer chilli nan was not cooked properly.Was expecting a call back when we called to tell them but did not get one as promised. Hope the chefs haven't changed. Hopefully it gets better.The service by the girls is always great

Had a meal at Palao Place Roxburg Park, Our experience was great, the staff member was extremely friendly and nice. Especially when we order the curry, she specifically asked about our spicy level, when we said we are not great with spicy, she told the chief to make it especially mild. Which was fantastic for us and made our meal enjoyable. Much thanks to the waitress that serve us which had a good manners and puts customers' interests as a priority!

We had visited Pulao Restaurant for giving Catering services for Birthday Party and I should sincerely appreciate Chef for making such a delicious food. Everyone at the party has appreciated. There was only one mistake from the Reception that they could not give us Rotis which have placed the order as per their Menu card advertised in FB and we specifically ordered with Paneer Butter masala curry. Upon asking for that they just made up saying that it was not the part of the order instead they gave one jumbo Biryani Rice and agreed to make 10 rotis but we had no time due to party kickoff. And that was the only disappointment from the Reception end. One lesson learned from my end is to always keep a photo copy of the finalized menu list.

Wide range of options and it's not the typical menu in other indian restaurants (and the erstwhile Dosa But that existed in this spot).Tried the Karampodi chicken and that was great. But the normal chicken biryani option was too spicy for my indian taste buds. Just a request to provide the spice level options to customers.

I’ve ordered a goat pulao and egg dosa for takeaway but received a goat biryani…kind of disappointed. I’ve basically paid extra for the biryani.

Best Indian restaurant in Melbourne by far!!!!!The pulao was the best I ever had...5 starsCustomer service was a 110%. Excellent work!!!Masala tea was just too good...a must try.Very cheerfully environment. Highly recommended.We enjoyed it a lot and are definitely coming back.Well done guys!!!!

It was surprising to see this place is halal certified, must visit if you’re in for some desi yummy food! We tried chicken tikka biryani, chicken schzewan, prawn salan, chicken noodles and homemade garlic naan! And my fav gulab jamans! Loved em all. Enjoyed the nice ambiance and a shout out to the courteous server Avani.

After seeing the 4.7 rating I decided to have my dine-in here yesterday. I was very much disappointed with the quality and taste of the food being served here.We ordered a masala dosa and Vada, chicken biriyani, kadai chicken, Chicken tandoori, Amritsari fish and pulao.Firstly, the masala in Masala dosa was stale and smelling bad, which we had to return. The meduvada also smelled bad inside and we left it.The 2 chicken biriyani we ordered was overloaded with Chilli. Being spicy and dumbing with chilli powder are two different I believe.The starter Chicken tandoori had the coating of masala uncooked, the chicken was not dry afterall.Other dishes- Pulao, kadai chicken and amritsari fish was Average.Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and considerate. The meeta paan was good.

Very nice place with lot of options, we had chicken palnati pulao which was awesome and goat rayalavari pulao which tasted flavourful. Started were very nice and delicious. Ppl who want a change from routine biriyani this is a great spot.
