A great little pub with a fantastic English atmosphere. They serve cold beer, and the food is really good. They passed the chicken parmy pub test with flying colours!!

The girl behind the bar was lovely & the food was quick, some of the chips did come out cold though. Good selection of beers including some craft, some Irish and some more classic Australian beers like great northern. Ultimately a good time and would recommend for families.

Ahhh, I love this place, I just wish the food was better!!!I had a burger recently which I waited about 40 minutes for. The photo makes it look good hey! It was so dry, the bread tasted a bit stale and the chips were over cooked.

We went with a party for our son's birthday. After a fairly ordinary Spring, the day was perfect. The large outdoor area has expanded since our last visit and the place, both inside and out, was very busy.Despite the crowd, drinks were easy to get, with no queues to speak of. Food took quite a bit longer but quality was very good as usual. The atmosphere was vibrant and friendly, with quite a few parties celebrating.All in all, another most enjoyable experience at The George. We'll be back!

Small interior so definitely book ahead. Large outdoor seating so summer time is always a great time to visit.An English-themed pub serving some unique UK beers, however there could be more types if they were to be a true English-themed pub.Schnitzel is amazing! Definitely recommend. Good size, tasty crunchy crumb and the mushroom sauce is decent.

The is a reason why The George Harcourt is so highly rated. Wonderful atmosphere and great meals make it a pretty special pub experience. Seating is also awesome if you manage to get a table outside.
