DO NOT GO HERE! Went to this mechanic for a roadworthy certificate for my car. Firstly he charged me $120 upfront when I first got there. After waiting for about 30 mins for him to work on another car (even though I had an appointment) he told me he would have a look at my car. After he did a check on it which took about 20 mins total. He gave me a list of things I needed to fix.1. Apparently I had a buckled wheel on the rear which I couldn't even see.2. There was a leak in my boot (which was understandable).After the checks (since I didn't end up getting the certificate) I asked him if I could have my $120 back. He refused to give me any of it back and said it was for the check.I told him from my understanding if I did not receive the roadworthy certificate I would not have to pay him $120 because he did not fix anything. I have been to other mechanics and they do not charge for the check. He told me other mechanics are not doing the right thing and I must report them and they should lose their ability to issue roadworthy certificates. I did not really want to pay $120 for only 20 mins of him just having a look at my car and didn't really see it as fair. I told him this was not right and he got really defensive and even angry, telling me he would report me to VicRoads and I will recieve a call from them tomorrow. It was quite dark and I felt unsafe to take things further with him. The next day I did not receive a call from VicRoads. As I was a p-plater at the time I suspect he was taking advantage of the fact that I was quite a new driver and didn't understand the procedures. Please don't waste your time and money on this place!! Plenty of other decent mechanics in the area.

Enzo is a great mechanic and a complete gentleman. We've seen him on 4 different occasions (for different cars) and he always offers a great service and value for money. Highly recommend.

My sister and I have been going to Sangate service company for around 5 years for our services.I drive a golf which also needed it's timing belt fixed recently, they gave me upfront pricing and carried out a general service at the same time. I'd highly recommend this company.

I take my old Subaru here regularly for services and for whatever needs fixing as it's an old car. I'm always extremely happy with the outcome from when I receive my car back as it's running well. Great customer service too!

I am a loyal customer of Sangate Service Company and I believe the service I receive is very thorough. The mechanic I dealt with was very informative about what needed to be fixed in my car and everything was explained well - I had no worries or questions. Prices were fair and appropriate and I will always return. I highly recommend this mechanic.

I didn't get anything done for my car but was happy with the customer service. My car needed a minor fix to an underbody panel and they were kind enough to direct me to another place close by that did it.

Asked for an appointment for an engine oil leak and they told me they are booked for a week. I asked for any available appointment after a week and they say no appointment is available.

Great guy! I had a red mazda 3 for viv, and he was great to talk with and very reasonable man.
