I had an engine rebuild by Engine Exchange.I had the engine serviced twice before 6000kms after rebuild. The engine failed around 10,000 kms due to an overmachined head, causing a breach allowing cylinder exhaused to escape under the O-ring back through the Radiator. As a result, I broke down as I drove across the Nullabor heading towards Victoria from WA. Costing $3200 in repairs in Adelaide, I soon had more serious problems again once reaching Victoria, Toyota Ferntree Gully telling me a rebuild was required. During warranty negotiations with Perry, he hung up on me after accusing me of overheating the engine.I am an operator for BHP entrusted with operating multi-million dollar equipment and my work practices extend to pre-starting my own vehicle. With only 6000kms on the clock, I was still pre-starting my vehicle every day before operation, which I do in the bush but not in the city. I know I did not do anything wrong.After being accused of doing something wrong, being hung up on, and being told the only resolution is for me to pay to have the engine extracted, pay to have it sent back to Perth, and even then, no guarantee on whether they will agree it's a warranty issue, let alone the $3200 + towing I have already spent, I would advise people to avoid dealing with this company.
