What a great little find. The food was amazing. Best chicken and sweet corn soup I've ever had. We couldn't fault anything. Service very friendly. We felt very welcome. If you want great food, this is the place to go.

Would not deliver for under $100 order . Very disappointed.

Always great food. The store is always so clean, it really deserves the 5 star rating it has on the door. I have shopped here for years now and have never gotten a bad meal. It is worth every penny.

Visiting from Melbourne for the weekend, #roadtrip, staying at a nearby hotel.Completely clueless when it came to local eateries on a Sunday night, where the town was so dead I thought perhaps there had been a Zombie apocalypse and no one had told us.Anyway, driving on a darkish road noticed the Golden Recipes sign was lit up, so a quick stop, a little nervous to take a chance on country Chinese, but had a craving, so gave it a go.Glad I did.Ordered combination rice - pretty goodLemon chicken- pretty goodSatay skewers - entree - good, excellent sauceThe server was lovely, and whilst I was getting takeaway- hot tip: if you are planning onDining in, bring a very warm jacket, it was actually colder inside that outside.However- the restaurant was clean, spacious, and well set up, although some ambient music would have been a nice touch.Def 5 overall - with the caveat that Its Wagga Wagga, not China town in Melbourne. Therefore adjust your expectations, and you will be more than satisfied with your dining experience.Ps. LOVE the takeout box- sorry didn’t pic food, ate it.

I like the box that the take away come in, it is a nice detail. The sweet and sour pork was nice and tasty, the Szechuan chicken wasn't spicy. The overall flavours seemed more sweet than anything else. It was the texture of the meat that I found to be the most strange, super soft....to the point of no texture, which was a little off putting.

Our first takeaway from Golden Recipes today. Our meal was delicious and we'll certainly be going back again to try more dishes. Very impressed with the cleanliness of this little place.

Tried to get a phone order would not let me pay by card over phone or. charge to my motel room but when I went in store the girl was taking a card payment by phone and a man came in and charged his meal to his motel room. Unfriendly staff and the food was very average except for the spring rolls they were amazing

One of the few options around the wagga area that is still serving food after 9pm. Based on this alone i decided to give Golden Recipes a go. Ordered over the phone and was told 15 minutes and sure enough that’s exactly what it was. Staff were friendly and courteous and i didn’t have to wait to be served. The meat was lovely and soft and the food was fresh and flavoursome. Also picked up some fortune cookies to complete the meal ;)
