JB Hi-Fi Woden - Westfield

Had the feeling I was rated by how I was dressed. Spent seven hundred on a speaker was questioned like I was a scammer when went to pick up. Shame.

A store attendant came quickly when called and was very knowledgeable about the microwave I was interested in. He was very personable and he didn't make me feel rushed about making a decision. Overall a very positive experience.

I purchased a TV from the JB Hi Fi store Woden (ACT) in June 2022 at the recommendation of the sales person. The TCL TV broke within 6 months, critical failure. I reported it to JB store in order to organise a replacement. They stuffed me around at every opportunity, refused to engage in my emails and phone calls and would never get back to me. I'm the end, I had to deal with the manufacturer myself. I was without a working product for 5 months and it took then over a month to issue a refund for the original product. No only that it took multiple phone calls each week, they never get back to me and I would have to spend hours in my work week chasing up after then. Atrocious service and I'll buy electronics elsewhere next time.

My husband rang this store to enquire about the availability of of a new dvd player. He was told none in stock at Woden but there was one at Belconnen, did he want it transferred to Woden? He said yes please, at no time during the discussion was mention made that payment was required before transfer. So a week later we went into the store and asked for the dvd player, told it was in transit - one week to travel from one suburb to another - Canberra just isn’t that big folks. We were advised by a very disinterested young man we would be given a phone call when it arrived. Two days later he rang and was told it was there, told to bring in his receipt and proof of identity - noting we had NOT been asked to pay upfront (and yes, I do know that is normal practice). Get into the store and the young man we spoken to a couple of days prior saw us and immediately went off to “serve” someone else. Eventually a lady asked if we were being looked after, no, and we went through the whole saga again. Another young man then came to speak to my husband and said the dvd was showing as still in transit! Long story short, we got our dvd player eventually, but the sheer chaos and apparent incompetence shown by this store, plus staff who appear not to want to be there make me very reluctant to return and spend money there.

Very, very poor customer service from this jb. Was ignored by staff who knew I was waiting so they could have a chat instead of selling me a phone, do yourself a favour and go to optus and give this place a miss

Great staff and good services. The location of the store inside the mall is very convenient.

Friendly and helpful staff. They didn't have the product I wanted in store but they offered to transfer from another store or for me to collect.

The staff ate always helpful. I always asks for the best price possible, 90% of the time I get a discount.

Amazing staff, very helpful and kind.I went in for a warranty repair/replacement for an item and the team that helped me were wonderful. Adrian, James and Harry we’re all so kind and understanding, helped me understand my options and even through they didn’t have my replacement item in store they got Tuggeranong to hold one for me which was super helpful. Definitely going to be coming here again!

Very poor customer service. Went to buy phone, waited for more than hour. None of the staff even bothered to ask, they just ignored us.Was waiting in the counter for sales person. Very disappointed ☹️
