We were a group of 10 and one of our friends suggested this place as they’ve walked past it a few times going home.The quality and presentation of the food was amazing. We had the lunch banquet and everyone left feeling satisfied and fulfilled.The fish with artichokes and the sirloin dry aged steak was the highlight of the meal, both full of flavour, juicy and the fish was not dry.Service was on point.

What a wonderful experience! Went there for our anniversary and it was great from start to finish. Shoutout to our server Eve who was super friendly and helpful and we had a great chat while we were working out our order.The scallops came out first and they were perfectly cooked so I was excited to try the rest and it did not disappoint! The sirloin steak was one of the best I've had, perfectly tender with a great crust and amazing jus. Potatoes, crispy. Tartare, delicious. Everything was a hit and I would definitely be back if I actually lived in Sydney. Oh the creme caramel was just okay, didn't quite match up with the rest of the food but was a nice light dessert.The cocktails were okay, but not really my style except for the blackberry sour which was great. The only thing that could have been better was the place didn't seem to have the aircon running despite it being a packed venue so I was sweating a little. Otherwise it was a great night, if a little on the pricey side.

A great place with really good service and friendly staff. Delicious food awaits no matter what you order. It was so good, we ended up ordering almost everything twice and left super stuffed.Great chocie of drinks as well.The staff was very accommodating even though they were fully booked out, even helped us decide while we ordered.A must if you’re spending your night around kirribilli.

We had dinner at The Botanist for my birthday celebration and it was just brilliant. The right balance of class, something a bit different, but not at all pretentious. The atmosphere was great. And of course delicious food. The cocktails were also fantastic and service couldn't be faulted. We'll be back for sure.

A truly special find.We made a point to come back for a second visit during our limited time here because it is SO good.LUKE for the win today as our sparkling server as he brought tasty dish after dish with a smile!Highly recommend!

The Botanist is loved and raved about by the locals and, as I discovered, for good reason.The restaurant is unpretentious and tastefully decorated.The service is of a very high standard.The food is sharing-style and absolutely stunning in both presentation and taste.I highly recommend The Botanist for a cozy meal out with close friends or family.Expect to pay between $50 and $65 per person for food.

Cute and cosy on a Sunday afternoon with live music.Friendly and quick service.Loved the squid. Pastas were pretty good. Lamb skewer was ok. Peas very average. Food was pretty salty.

Expensive but delicious. We had a wonderful seafood sustainable dinner at Botanist. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The chef cooked and presented a delicious meal. The bonus was all the extra knowledge we gained about sustainable food and its impact on the environment. Definitely coming back for more!

Flipping the old adage on its head that Angus is inferior to Wagyu. This $95 sirloin was amazing. Tender from it's dry aging process no doubt - complemented perfectly by a rich jus. Cheeky creme caramel to end the meal.
