RSPCA Tasmania - Launceston Animal Care Centre

Beautiful kitten cuddles the best. But the place had a horrible smell to it.

I made an appointment to see one of the rescue dogs this morning from the Launceston RSPCA centre. The little girl I went to see (Gracie) was a lovely little girl, who had been in the wars. She was really sweet, but unfortunately was a larger breed than we want. Anyone who adopts her will have a very loyal part staffy. She is still waiting for her evermore home. I found the staff really sincere with their care for her.

Adopted our boy last week and have found an amazing companion. The cats are well looked after here and the staff are knowledgeable and caring

Popped in for a manicure and the lady who performed it was very kind and patient with me, even tho I was trying very hard to kill the nail clippers. Now I’m a very happy pup as I don’t slip on the wooden floor anymore. Will definitely be back! (Yes: it’s a threat!)

I called into the store to buy a harness for my lamb the 2 girls that was helping were amazing even they couldn't believe it was for a sheep

this afternoon I went to the rspca to adopt a cat only to be told I couldn't adopt her because they were only open 10 more minutes.. What happened to customers first let alone a customer that is willing to spend $250 to adopt a cat from you. The office lady was so incredibly rude and gave appalling customer service and cared more about getting home for tea than an animal in a shelter finding its first home ever. If a customer is willing to spend then you use your common sense and stay open to satisfy them, that's what a customer based organisations/businesses do.

Loved seeing the cats. The lady working was very informative and answered all of mine and my partners questions. We adopted our little man from there a bit over a month ago and he is an amazing companion. It is clear they have the animals best interest at heart.

What a discusting service you claim you protect animals and when your called for some one abusing animals you do nothing !The woman who owns a horse in beaconsfield has had the rspca called on her multipul times for abuse and she brags that her friend works there and nothing gets done about itSo shamful you let your friend starve horses beat them and neglect them to the point they cant even walk or eat properly shame on you for not doing the right thing and helping the animals i will be reporting the rspca for not doing ther job and see if the news wants to come for a chat and see the horses and show tassie the coruption that takes place in your own building !Your day is comming and when the cameras are on there will be no where to hide !

Middle aged woman named Emmy whom worked here in 2021 was horrible! So arrogant to deal with,lacking social skills and whats more she has been reported to the RSPCA itself for mistreating an animal! UNACCEPTABLE!

They reckon dogs don’t have to be walked, and if it’s tied up and got shelter, food and water it’s fine. Lol. Should try that out see how long you last. Dogs are made to be walked. Only if it’s sick or old. And still some people walk them. Go above and beyond RSPCA don’t be afraid.…
