Great space and the wine tasting experience was the best fun. Staff went out of their way to help us in our wine journey

One of the valleys hidden treasures.If you are looking for something different to your standard one label cellar door, this place is it.Awesome variety of wines from small winemakers of the region. We were so impressed we became members and now are regular visitors.Great setting, friendly, knowledgeable staff and great value wines.

A great wine tasting session and highly recommended thank you Neil. Especially loved your unique ability to customise the experience and your intimate knowledge of the wines served. We look forward to a return visit. It was especially nice to sample and purchase wines from boutique wine producers such as The Little Company.

We visited here to try some wines from the area. Thought it was going to be like the Wine Station in Maryborough NZ where you 'pay-as-you-go' for tastings from wine vending machines. That being said the $15 tasting was well presented, informative, friendly and fun (not a great fan of 'serious' tastings). The wines available for tasting were dominated by The Little Wine Company - which we really enjoyed so we were quite happy with our visit.

We booked the 16 wine self-guided tour and tasting on RedBaloon. Neil served as our wine expert for the experience and we could not have asked for a better person in this regard, as he was both incredibly passionate about the wine and very knowledgeable. The wine selection on offer was also amazing, so much so that we bought several bottles of ones we had tried. The tasting platter put together by Tonia was superb when paired with the wine and really made a lasting impression with the selection of cheeses.Can’t recommend this experience enough!

Very accommodating for our toddler (as there was no kids menu) just ask ! Amazing creamed leek tart and my husband ate the smoked trout, very well priced for lunch at such quality food. Wines by the glass, indoor or outdoor dining, local produce also available to purchase.

Second time in coming to this place and you guys never cease to amaze me. Big thanks to Suzanne, Adam and Neil for the experience. My family from New Zealand loved it. Neil was amazing with the time he spent showing us the wines and even giving this Wine Troglodyte (Me) a few lessons on how to enhance my experience. Get the cheese board if you do the Icon experience and buy up big as the wines are extraordinary and from little known vineyards around the area. Thanks again and we will be back with more friends.

Fantastic time at Wine House. Took the Hunter Unearthed wine tasting Journey out on the terrace in the winter sunshine with our pup Monte. Our host Lisa was a joy to chat with and she had a wealth of knowledge and anecdotes about the wines and the region. She took time to get to know our likes and dislikes and she lined up a great mix of styles for us to try. Thoroughly recommend Wine House Hunter Valley!!

A very pleasant experience doing a wine tasting complemented by a grazing board. We visited on a warm, sunny day, and it was lovely sitting outside. The place is very quiet, and while not the prettiest location in the Hunter, it feels like a million miles away from everything, which was exactly what we needed.They seem to have a solid selection of local wines. We ordered 2 wine flights of 4 wines each - red and white, with tasting notes. It was a fun experience, although the wines we tried weren’t that extraordinary.The mezze gazing board looked good and had some delicious nibbles to go with the wine. Their website claims the boards are sufficient as lunch for most people - I wouldn’t recommend skipping lunch if a grazing board is all you’re relying on.The lady who served us was very friendly and happy to accommodate. Overall, a very chilled experience, suitable for those times when you just need to escape the crowds.
