Kookaburra Park
Absolutely amazing. Lovely park. The kids enjoyed the animals and animal feeding.Stayed in the garden studio, the bed was very comfortable and the outside area a great addition. We like that you could also have tents around. The different areas were spaced out for great privacy. The owners and staff were all very friendly.

The management family and kids were so polite happy helpful and welcoming. My 10 yr old son wanted to give this place 5 stars because they were so lovely and his other favourite parts were feeding the animals especially twinkle the guinea pig. There is plenty to explore and check out and the amenities are well maintained and easy to access. If you like privacy pine tree hill is my pick. A little road noise but nothing too bad in my opinion.

Wonderful family friendly camp grounds, the amenities were very well kept, one of the cleanest camping grounds we’ve stayed at and great facilities (shared microwave, toaster & fridge!! along with bbq’s right near our powered sites). Our children loved the animal feeding and fairy garden.

Such a safe, friendly vibe. We stayed in the jungle cabin, it had everything we needed. The kids (2 and 5 year Olds) loved feeding the animals, playing in the fairy garden and adventuring on the Jurassic trail or down to the river. I loved the vison boards and look forward to coming back and seeing the progress of the park. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Beautiful park. Clean and tidy and so well run and organised. The owners Adam and Emma have come such a long way so far with the changes and huge improvements they have made so far. We have visited many times since they took on the park and have enjoyed many different locations on the property. Its hard to pick a favourite spot. Amenities are always cleaned and well maintained and the animals and feeding activities are great for not just kids but adults too. We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Kookaburra Park
I do not recommend.Very overpriced. Within an hour of arriving the window in the main bedroom fell on me. I was asked by management, just not to use it. Thankfully I wasn’t injured.Beds were uncomfortable. Mattresses were old and bumpy. Tv provided, but has no reception.Other windows were cracked in the cottage, with sticky tape to hold them together.Firewood wasn’t deliveed to the room. I had to self serve. When using the shower, water flooded the bathroom. The towels provided were musty, dirty and stunk.Do not swim in the river. The sewage from the old, poorly maintained septic is leaking into the river causing a massive algal bloom. Visitors are then encouraged to swim in the effluent.Stay away.Much better value in Maleny for the same price with well maintained, environmentally responsible farm stays.

This is now one of our favourite camping spots in SE QLD. The owners are super friendly and helpful and are continually upgrading the place. Beautiful location with several areas to camp. You have plenty of room to pitch a tent without being too close to others. Amenities are clean and modern. Two camp kitchens with communal fridges. Easy access to Mary River for kids to explore (but not very deep for kayaks and swimming). Animal feeding was a big hit with our kids.

Kookaburra Park
Such a lovely child focused and friendly place. It feels like a real escape, especially if you can reserve one of the spots tucked away or up on the hill. My daughter loved spending time and interacting with the animals. There is plenty to do for a few days, lovely creek nearby, great walk, and lots of nature spotting.

The park is brilliant. It was a perfect place to stay for camping in nature with a few basic amenities. The sites are large and the animal nursery is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and it is great that you can bring dogs. I will definitely be back. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kookaburra Park is a wonderful place to relax. A beautiful location and friendly staff (Ranger Joe and Tiff and the junior rangers do a great job). Our children loved the animals and playing in the river.
