Caravan Park

Nice quiet park and the Swimming Pool is HUGE! Good location to base yourself while exploring the area

Absolutely not suitable as a caravan park not even as an overnight your far better off free camping.Should be demolished, really should. Something very wrong with the reviews here, very wrong.Booked for three nights pulled in at 4.45 was gone at8 am next day.Enough said.

Had 2 nights at this council run caravan park. Cost was an amazing $15 per night for power and water and access to a roomy shower and toilet. Grounds are well kept. The camp kitchen was a surprise with microwave, toaster and kettle. Inside also had a couple of solid bbq tops and a fridge. Well lit for tables and chairs and a pleasant sitting area outside undercover also. Highly recommend.

Can’t talk to the park, only the service station. There is a great selection of car/trailer parts and early on, we purchased fuel and parts. I was touring in a big group and had a few hiccups in the 2nd week with one of the cars and the garage couldn’t have been more unhelpful…boarding on the most rude and unhelpful service we have ever had. Either he was doing RACQ work, eating across the road at house or just ignoring us when we dropped in. Given its so busy, we go impression they didn’t care. No bother, over the month, we probably spent 2k+ in fuel and parts…but not with you. Kurumba is suffering from that problem where the town is always full because of Covid, but the town just plods along like it always has.

Room was clean. Looked nice. Pots, pans and even an air fryer. It had all needs ironing board, iron, hangers.The aircon/heater did not come on and the wonderful front office came to the room to turn on the key. HOWEVER did not warm the room enough, and shut down a couple of times.Bathroom needs to be done as in faucet had been painted and it was chipped, shower some rust... even so IT WAS CLEAN

Great location, very clean and friendly place. The owner, Cam, is super accommodating. We rang late in the day to book and it was no problem for him. Loved the chickens wandering around the in the morning. Good coffee from the little shop. Will definitely recommend.

We went in for just day use, day passes no longer offered, so we paid for a nights accommodation just so we could use the park facilities.Great family fun (well worth the money). Plenty to do for young and old. Highly recommended for a visit if you are in Cairns.

We had such a great experience at the here, it's close to the beach and the facilities are amazing. This would be the best park we have ever stayed at. The kids had a ball in the water park and all the other activities.

In Sandstone you give this a 5 star for being clean throughout and a nice greeting at the office. Showers toilets all very good. Camp kitchen, bbqs very good.The odd truck passing on main rd and pump starting up, but apart from that it is quite.I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Hubby and I stayed for one night on a powered site in July. We had no booking and just stopped randomly with our camper van.We found the place to be quiet and peaceful. Beautiful clean toilets and shower amenities, with good pressure and HOT water. Owner was down to earth and very helpful and friendly.
