Chantel Learning Childcare Centre

I agree with previous parent’s comment that owner is difficult to have conversation with and is quite defensive when we enquiry about fees, the way he talks is not professional and unacceptable, with our calcultion, we are clearly ahead of payments but the owner is a self confessed genius and adamant that his calculation is correct, he even suggest to leave if we are not happy, that’s what we have done. I encourage parents to speak up if you have any fee discrepancies.

My son has been attending Chantel Learning Child Care for almost three years now. I have nothing but praise for the Centre (staff and management) and will recommend and continue to recommend this Centre to family and friends (the same way the Centre was recommended to me). At no point in time, have I had an issue with the Centre or the level of care that my son has been given. If anything, I feel that staff members go above and beyond. Staff and management have always been willing to answer any questions/concerns that I have had over the years.In my opinion, 2014 has been the Centre's best year yet – the Centre is moving forward and continuing to grow. I am constantly updated and informed of my son's progress /development and of any news/events that are happening at the Centre.The Centre is clean and bright and overall has a great set up both indoors and out.

My daughter has been attending Chantel Learning Childcare for the last 2.5 years and we have been happy with the centre. My recommendations and ideas have been taken on board by the staff and owner. The staff have been lovely to my child. When we have had issues such as feeding and eczema, the staff have been very accommodating and have spent the time to encourage my daughter to eat and regularly apply cream on her arms and legs as requested. I agree, there have been a lot of staff changes within the last year, which I think were necessary and I hope it will be the start of something new for the centre. If I had concerns about this centre, I would not allow my daughter to attend and I would not recommend/ encourage my friends to send their children there either. We visited about 3 other centres before deciding on this one, and I felt comfortable with it and that it was a clean and well maintained centre. As always, it is a good idea to see the centre for yourself and make your own judgments, rather than only relying on reviews on the internet.

Chantel day care and Pre school provide excellent service. Both my kids are at the centre and enjoy being there. Staff are friendly, kind and considerate to all, as well as dedicated to the children’s well being and leaning. Couldn’t ask for better providers. We have been at the centre for almost two years and Manager and staff are very professional and caring towards the children and parents. Highly recommend.

My eldest girl just finished at Chantel this year to start big school - their school preparation was fantastic and they even had a beautiful graduation ceremony for the kids.The team at Chantel is so warm and caring. It's a hard gig being an early childcare educator but they always turn up with the biggest smiles and the warmest hugs.

My son has attended Chantel for four years. The centre is immaculately maintained both inside and outside and the staff are friendly and encouraging to the children. The owner has a very kind heart and always has the best interests of the children in mind.

Chantels is undoubtedly the best childcare centres in the area. My girls have been attending for over a year now and we couldn’t be happier. As a working mother, I am grateful to be able to leave them in the care of teachers who have genuine affection for my little ones and are interested in their development as children.It has been a pleasure to get to know the staff that look after my girls, some of whom have even babysat for us on the weekend. Everyone is warm and friendly, even the cook!Chantels have always gone above and beyond to accommodate our changing needs as a family, with ad-hoc childcare, extra one to one support for speech pathology practice for my eldest daughter and support for all the typical childhood challenges such as toilet training and illnesses.In terms of education, my daughters have flourished. The school readiness program has catered to my eldest daughter's enthusiasm to start to learn the building blocks of reading, writing and spelling.I highly recommend Chantels to all parents looking for a great environment for their children to grow, learn and have fun.

My first child attend Chantel Learning Centre for 2 years till he started school, and currently my 2nd child is in the centre for the past 2 years also starts school next year. My experience with Chantel Learning Child Care Centre has been nothing but positive with both my children. The staff are highly professional and very involved with the children, their activities, play and work. The environment in which the children stay in is always of a utmost high standard, being clean and presentable. What I love most about the centre is the warmth and inviting personalities of the carers. The staff are extremely caring, loving and have the children's best interests at heart. Their attitudes is what makes my children love going there.When ever there have been issues raised with my children, which at times is certainly going to happen, the staff have always kept me well informed and have also worked with me and my children to resolve issues when need be.My children also have special dietary requirements and health conditions. Chantel Learning Child Care Centre have been very accommodating to this which has been extremely helpful and puts my mind at ease.I would recommend Chantel Learning Child Care Centre to absolutely anyone. If your looking for the place where the staff look at it as more than their job and actually love and enjoy what they do, then this is the place to be!

I have witnessed number of children mistreatment and negligence for the last year and a half. One of the sad stories happened in the center was for a 2-3 year old girl. She was handpicked from the slide and thrown on the floor which resulted in dislocated her shoulder. This incident wasn’t reported or documented and the girl’s parents were not notified with what happened. Instead they told the mother that they don’t know why she was crying.One of the childcare educators works there is a strange sick person treats kids badly locking them up in the dark store room for hours every time they do very simple mistakes such as dropping a toy or not eating there food.One other incident happened to a 3 year old boy was put in the baby’s cot in the dark for over 1:30 hour just because he didn’t do what that weird girl wants. The boy was terrified crying all that time. She also told the girls not to let him sleep and needs to learn a lesson.The manager is aware of all these incidents and instead of stopping it; he helps to hide everything and protects that girl all the time because she is related to him.The childcare center is currently under the DOCS investigation after multiple reports and complaints.
