What a disappointment after finally trying this place out.Expensive Nasi Lemak at $19, especially with flavorless curry, dry chicken, three small tough pieces of beef and bland salted anchovies and peanuts.The laksa also didn’t impress us as the broth lacked aromatic flavours. It wasn’t rich or fragrant, missing so much complexity, we felt we were given a very salted coconut broth mixed with a dull supermarket-bought laksa paste.But at least service was prompt.

As you all know, when I go out we order a lot so here’s another place for you to add to your “Go To” in Brisbane.The atmosphere is so delicate, warm and welcoming. Dim lights and Koi fish greet you on the way win, beautiful fitted with lanterns, Chinese touches and a sense of placement was well executed.The food. Hands down one of the best crabs ever eaten, a rich but light sauce complimented it so well.The Kung Po Beef is also a to dine for dish. I can’t even explain the sauce to you, you just have to try.Go have a look at their menu, nothing disappoints and we will definitely be back.Service: 4 stars: a smile but a little slow to start with but everything else was really efficient.

Our local Malaysian restaurant at the shopping centre, so I didn't expect it to be too flash. However, apart from the plastic chairs, the atmosphere is warm, even opulent.The menus is excellent, the service was great, and we were able to fit a party of seven without being cramped. And that included one in a wheel chair.The entrees and mains were superb and plentiful. We ordered separately but shared. This was made easy by putting all the dishes on the large lazy Susan and taking the food from there to your bowl. Be sure to order rice to accompany the mains, which you add to your bowl before adding the food.

Cosy little place with authentic food, highly recommended. It was just a friend and I eating, but the menu looked so good we ordered a few dishes. The steamed perch with ginger and shallots, hot plate tofu, Hainan chicken rice and combination hor-fun (flat noodles in egg sauce, asked for the home made sambal belacan and fresh cut red chilli to go with it). Not dishes that normally go with each other, but it was all delicious. One of the business owners, Raymond, was very friendly too, and so were all the staff working there. Worth the drive over from the north side, and will be back again! Thanks!

Delicious authentic Malaysian Chinese food!Friendly service and cozy atmosphere. It’s our first time visiting the restaurant and we love every dish that we ordered.We went for a birthday celebration. The owner was so kind to keep the cake that we brought in their fridge and took it out after we finished our meal. They even played birthday song in the restaurant and other customers were also happily celebrating with us! What a pleasant surprise! Our group of 12 all had a lovely night and we all agreed that we will be going back to try more delicious food there.

I'm glad there's a decent Malaysian food place here in Cannon Hill - I had their Kailan 2 ways (which was a first for me), kampung chicken, seafood laksa and chi Xian tofu. All good dishes, but their sambal is particularly OUTSTANDING.

Food was tasty and you get a decent amount for the price. The decor is quite cool and is a nice cosy place to have a bite to eat. We had to flag staff down to take our order even though there was only 3 other tables in the restaurant so I think customer service could be improved. Overall, would recommend giving this place a try.
