Autentico Paint Australia

I came across the Autentico brand of paints and range of textured goodies, after attending a course by Plain Jane Furniture in Adelaide. After several course I am completely hooked on these products. In particular they are non-toxic and safe for your home; they are also extremely lovely to work with.The Vintage chalk based paints just feel soft and glide off the brush. Great for blending, layering and adding depth to your pieces. I have ventured in to their other products too, using copper powders for patina effects, rust powders for that industrial look, sea-salt fizz for a popping texture in the paint. The metallic range is to die for, and they offer a large range of waxes. The Versante range has a built in top coat, and is great for the more modern furniture appeal, or for wet areas. They also stock a water based, solvent free Primer / Stain blocker, who would've thought. You could seriously paint in your house all day and not know you've been painting.I am keen to use the bio-degradable BioStrip too, rather than the horrid toxic products out there. Actually, I am keen to try everything; paint my furniture, paint my house, inside & out - so many options, so much to do!
