Super Safe Hire

Worst customer service and accounts team I have dealt with from any construction organisation. The simplest invoicing and account activities are always difficult. Installation and delivery team are good but back office invoice and accounts are shocking - terrible customer service. WILL NOT USE AGAIN.

Shower arrived whilst I was out and sadly it is filthy. Are customers not able to at least have a clean shower delivered? I am very disappointed.

WARNING⚠️! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! Yesterday, without notice and without permission, they undid a section of our security fence, entered our property and removed a power pole and toilet which had been hired and fully prepaid for the entire rental agreement. Is that Breaking and Entering? We now have to institute legal proceedings to recover the monies we paid.

My father in law (Bill) had an issue with Super Safe Skip Bin Hire 2-3 years ago when a neighbour hired a bin through them. The problem was the guy collecting the neighbour’s bin hit Bill’s front fence – severely damaging two pillars and badly cracking the fence itself. Bill contacted the neighbour and then Super Safe to seek redress.Super Safe sent a representative who came to take a look, discussed the problem with Bill, gave him his card and left after Bill (naively?) said he wasn’t in a tearing hurry to have the damage fixed. Needless to say, nothing more was heard from them.Bill passed away in June. Recently Boroondara Council gave us 30 days to demolish the fence because it had become dangerous. So I thought Super Safe would give us a good price for a bin to cart away the brick rubble. Sadly I was disappointed – I had a reasonably sympathetic hearing from the office staff who had to refer the matter to the boss.When they called back, they said they no longer deal with Bill’s suburb (oh yeah!). Apparently, no exception to that is possible... They claimed to have no record of the incident and that the fellow who came to see Bill (I have his card) was no longer with the company.In my opinion, you should use those guys if you want someone careless, who’ll dodge repairing damage they cause and possibly take advantage of the elderly.

My recollection of events is completely accurate, please don't attempt to discredit this post and salvage some credibility here. No compensation was offered for the cleaning or the inconvenience caused.*BEWARE THIS COMPANY*Would you like to be left out-of-pocket? Would you like your phone calls and emails ignored? Would you like a demolition fence installed around your neighbour's house instead of your own? Please read on for a story of this company's incompetence!Usually when you leave a review, it's because the service you asked for was more or less than adequate. In this case, I didn't even have a choice in the matter and unfortunately had to deal with this poorly run company anyway.We got home Friday evening to see a temporary demolition fence surrounding the entire perimeter of our house. We could not get access to the house without scaling the 2m fencing. Turns out the fence was supposed to be installed around our neighbour's house who was demolishing their house to build units. After a 2 hour wait, they came and gave us access to the front door but left the fencing there until the following Monday afternoon.During this process they broke our fence to erect their temporary one, discarding the wood into the garden. The fence also prevented access to our cleaner that day, so we were charged a partial payment for her time.I attempted to contact the manager of Super Safe Hire several times over the next 3 weeks regarding compensation for the cleaner and fence. I called, left messages (reception staff are rude), emailed and all without resolution. I was told the manager was permanently in meetings or not available". Finally

Bad customer service.Hired a skip and gave strict instructions on where it needed to be placed on my property. The skip was placed in completely the wrong spot, blocking my driveway. Got home on Friday afternoon and tried to contact them but no one answered. Had to cancel the works that was meant to get done on my driveway that weekend. Finally spoke to someone on Monday and asked for a refund to cover the cancellation fee I had to pay for cancelling the works on my driveway. Flat out refusal to admit guilt. Fobbed off to the truck driver who refused to take responsibility. Promised I would get a call back but nothing.Very poor service and I will not be using them again and would recommend my friends and family not use them either.

Sharon from customer service was extremely helpful in arranging specific date to remove temp fencing whilst we wait for our builder to install their own, meaning our neighbours wont be disadvantaged for too long. Great service.

Continually called to have a site toilet cleaned, the truck rocked up once and then drove off without cleaning anything. Now we have Worksafe involved, Very poor service do not use

Been dealing with the Super Safe for a year and a half and have not had any issues. The team have been great in dealing with simple toilet hire to complex scaffold requirements
