First time I ordered from here and agree with the other reviews, delicious food and excellent service. I had the Khachi biriyani and some other items and it tasted just like a home cooked meal. The chef is very talented and you can tell from his cooking. Highly recommended, thanks so much.

4 star review because I don’t want to tank their reviews. But it says they’re open until 11pm, came here at 9.30 and it’s closed. Super super annoying as I travelled a fair distance to get here

This was my first time to try Bangladeshi cuisine and it was very tasted. I enjoyed the food a lot and Me and my husband finished all these dishes. Very friendly staff and nice vibe.

We had a great time at Smokey Bites. The fuchka super crunchy and fresh. The mughlai was delicious. Their Malai tea was very restrained so I loved it.I took the whole chicken home and had it the next day. It was still quite moist and well marinated.

It's great to say that I enjoyed my meal and found the food so delicious! Traditional foods can be incredibly flavorful and satisfying, especially when they are prepared with care and attention to detail. Naan and daal are classic dishes that are popular in many cultures, and it's always nice to try new variations or preparations of these traditional foods. Overall, it sounds like you had a wonderful dining experience in Dhaka

As a professional food reviewer, I had the opportunity to dine at Grameen Lakemba and I must say, I was disappointed with my experience.I had the Iftar deal which included Halim and Tehari. Unfortunately, the main Iftar was served stone cold, which was disappointing. However, the Halim served after iftar was really good and a highlight of the meal.Moving on to the Tehari, while it was a bit oily, it was still enjoyable. I could taste the spices and flavors, but I believe it would have been better if it was cooked with less oil.Unfortunately, our experience took a turn for the worse when we found a small cockroach in our drinking water. This is a serious hygiene issue that should not be taken lightly. I hope Grameen Lakemba takes immediate action to address this problem and prevent it from happening in the future.Overall, I would say that my experience at Grameen Lakemba was average at best. While the Halim was delicious, the cold main Iftar, oily Tehari, and the hygiene issue with the cockroach were major concerns. I would recommend that Grameen Lakemba takes steps to improve their food quality, hygiene practices, and overall dining experience for their customers.

We recently celebrated my son’s first birthday here, food was amazing,venue was clean and tidy and especially amar is very friendly and supportive all the time,it was all wonderful highly recommended.

Nostalgic taste of Old Dhaka !!! Highly recommended for the foodies out there. Tried the Kachchi biriyani with chicken roast weekend deal. I must say that is great food for value !! Will go again for more yummy food !!

We tried Bhuna Kichuri, Lamb Biryani, Hilsha, Prawn do payaja, brain masala and fuchka. Everything was tasty. Tea and shandesh were the cherry on top. It was very enjoyable sitting outside. Service was great. They were very polite and accommodating.Missed having fresh chillis on the side. Next time...
