I’ve never seen such generous corn flitters plate!! Halloumi cheese, smashed avocado, grilled bacon and corn flitters all is my favourite !!It takes 20min to get there on foot from my place and I enjoy morning walk to have amazing coffee and meal. Highly recommend.

Amazing fresh food. Excellent customer service. Peri peri chicken pizza is superb. Love the vegetarian and gluten free options. Excellent quality value for money.

I'm new to Mackay & friends booked my husband & I here for our 1st anniversary, what a fabulous choice, it was very quirky & riddled with history. As for the food, top complements to the chef, we all thought it was delicious, very well presented good portions & no hanging around, the service was simply tip top. This restaurant has top marks & we will return.

BEST HOT CHOCOLATE EVER. (The Vienna)Staff treated us very well, we asked to share a dish and they delivered our food on two seperate plates. Very efficient and a very lovely cozy place.Love it! Will be back !

Portion was reasonable for the price point. 5/5Kids beef burger was fresh, buns were fluffy and crispy, the cheese was melted perfectly and the ketchup was not overpowering. Portion was on the smaller side but understandable for the price. Flavour was simple but good. 4/5wait was about 5 minutes with a half full restraunt. Cleanliness was no issue. Ambience was warm and relaxed and the staff were friendly. 4/5Overall13/15

Grate food friendly staff amazing restaurant

Great service, friendly staff. Excellent coffee! Beautiful fresh sandwiches and good selection of freshly made food. Very pleasant spot to sit. Better than the cafes along Glenferrie Rd in the shopping precinct as some of the better ones have changed hands or closed this year. Fills a much needed gap as a reasonably priced lunch cafe. This cafe will do well.

Good old fashioned pub atmosphere, not a lot of polish but great meals, good prices and genuinely friendly staff

I wish I'd read the reviews before going here. I walk past this all the time and after our experience I'd be surprised if they get repeat customers. People are correct about the blonde woman's demeanour. She is rude, aggressive, in a rush and everything seems to be a hassle.Not a relaxing experience.The food is ridiculously overpriced. $15 for budget tomato on toast. Tiny mains the size of an entree. $28 for dry carbonara is a joke. I was still hungry when we left and pasta is usually a filling dish. I was embarrassed I took my date here.
