Kyoto style Japanese restaurant

1st time come here with my family to celebrating my hubby's birthday. The chef is so friendly and has sense of humour. My girls were so impressed & so entertaining with his cooking performances in front of us even though they weren't eating. The foods was freshly cooked in front of us and it was so tasty and delicious. Definitely would come back to this place & would recommend this place to friend and family.

The sashimi here is ok but not terrific, the prices are typical however the fish did not have a clean, fresh taste, it was more dry and slightly plastic. Their udon soup was a bit on the salty side and the karaage chicken was covered in sauce. Some customers enjoy this style, but overall I can only give them 3 stars for food taste. They have good service and are quick to prepare and serve.

Yummy Japanese food nesr St Leonard’s station. Great variety of sushi choices, bentos, and bowls on offer. I had the wagyu beef steak with rice and vegetables which was really nice and healthy. Relatively quick service.

Great food. Great portions. Great value for money. SUSHI & Bowl has a comprehensive menu of classic Japanese dishes. Sushi is well above average and represents good value. Bento boxes are a bargain at $16 as is the selection of udon and rice bowls.

Chef Saw (Steven) is very entertaining!!! We love his game. All the foods are very yummy.

I ordered the Special sushi roll platter from Sushi and bowl through Deliveroo on a Saturday. The sushi was absolutely delicious and each one was so different. Highly recommend!! Delivery was also on time and arrived warm.

This place should have a higher rating! The food is amazing and tasty, the staff are friendly and the venue is cozy. You get free miso too! Only thing I would change is making the lighting a little more intimate.

I get the special sushi platter and often get a random drink gift this has included oat milk, a vitamin drink and also a blue sugar free fanta. You just never know. The Sushi is also quite nice.

Very fun night and excellent food. Decor is not good as it needs a good tidy up but once the cooking show begins you realise what a great night it is. Saw, our chef, is very experienced and very funny. A real showman.

This place was so fun. The cooks cook Infront of you and do tricks and have games. This was our first teppanyaki and I will definetly come again. Not too much money, but was one of the most memorable and fun experiences with food. For some of our activities, they gave us bowls and made us catch raw eggs, cooked omelets and fried rice. I can't describe it much but it was so fun. Recommend for everyone that likes having fun, trying new things, celebrating or good at catching. But don't worry the chef's have trained years to throw food directly where they aim but sometimes they make cooked food miss your bowl on purpose so there are lots of laughs. You have to try it out! They also had a big fire on purpose.
