Queen of Sheba
The royal platter is a mix of eight meat and veggie options, plus yoghurt and salad, served on soft and spongy injera bread. Everything was delicious and it's great to have a whole range of flavours and textures. At about $34pp we were very satisfied with the value and left satisfied. Server was friendly and attentive, and the Ethiopian music was fantastic. Hope to see this place stick around and grow in popularity, it deserves it!Didn't realise it was BYO, but will know for next time!

Authentic Ethiopian food, great tasting and flavourful with fresh ingredients. Beautiful English explanation of the food and ingredients on menu.Loved the Molokhia dish.

we had an incredibly tasty vegan share platter. every single dish was delicious, and I absolutely devoured the soft and spongy injera (very pleasant squish sensation with these rolls)baklava was also delicious

Yeshi Buna Ethio-African Cafe and Restaurant
All stars are well deserved!Loved the food, is fresh and full of flavour.I felt like visiting family for dinner. The ambience is cozy and seems to be a place for friends to hang out.The customer service is very friendly and respectful.Something different and worth trying.

This restaurant is hands down one of the best in Melbourne! The food is so reasonably priced, the serving sizes leave you stuffed and nothing compares to the wonderful people who run it. The African gnocchi is out of this world, as are all of their dishes. Do yourself a favor and eat here - your taste buds and tummy will thank you for it!

One of my fave restaurants, eaten here and ordered takeout numerous times, food is delicious, owners/family are so genuinely lovely. You gotta pop in if your over this side!!!

We had a wonderful experience tonight, we dined in. 2 Kids and one adult, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The food was beautiful and fresh, we will be back. Everything was perfect, thank you.

The Abyssinian Restaurant
The Abyssinian is an experience!I've never had food quite like it before.We came in a group of 4, and although some didn't like the sourness of the injera, I grew quite fond of the yeast.The platter definitely is worth trying. You get a bit of everything, and there are some very great highlights.I am definitely coming here again and I recommend you go out of your comfort to try too!
