The Abyssinian is an experience!I've never had food quite like it before.We came in a group of 4, and although some didn't like the sourness of the injera, I grew quite fond of the yeast.The platter definitely is worth trying. You get a bit of everything, and there are some very great highlights.I am definitely coming here again and I recommend you go out of your comfort to try too!

I have had Ethiopian food in the past, but this was no short of amazing. The chef owner talked us into the banquet. Its platters with the food that’s eaten with your hands. It was stunningly good I will never forget how delicious it was. Since I’ve been home I’ve been exploring cooking some of the dishes on the menu. It’s a small place so book ahead a table and have the banquet you won’t be disappointed.

We went there two of us and ordered this big plate to share for $50. It's worth a try and good size for two, we could not finish it though.

Great place to have a nice dinner. The food is simple but very tasty. The menu is simple to understand.The staff is super friendly and the service is even faster. The Ethiopian beer is great too.The decor is very beautiful and is not over powering with the setup of the theme.If you are lucky you get to park right outside. Or there is always the side streets and a short stroll.Must go and will be back again. Cheers.

This place did not disappoint. The meat platter was delicious, eaten in a traditional way with your hands. Apart from the bread, the entire menu is gluten free. The staff were also wonderful and friendly.

Tried Ethiopian food for the first time, everything was fantastic. The meats were tender and juicy, loved the vegetable dishes too!!! Everything was so amazing, the owner was incredibly friendly, great food, great service, we loved it! we will be coming back for sure!

My friends and I turned up just before opening. We were welcomed and seated swiftly. We sat outside and the overhead heating made the cool autumn evening air lovely. We got a shared meal, the food was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Wow wow wow!!!! Amazing to say the least. Great friendly service, vibe atmosphere, and the food first class. Very tasty and really decently priced. $40 for two people. When the food arrives you think, “that’s not much” HOWEVER it is plenty and filling but not heavy. I really want to go back and try the rest of the menu. The staff were happy and this really added to the whole experience. If I have any critique I would say the lamb was slightly overcooked but the taste was still amazing. You must go. Highly recommended
