TJM Southside Sydney

I have had both towbars and roof racks installed at TJM. The workmanship and service at TJM is of high quality. I tow daily large trailers daily and have had no issues what so ever with the products they have installed. Everyone at TJM has been very helpful and I would honestly recommend them to anyone thinking of getting some work done.

Very disappointing.The TJM Southside owner assured me they could do a tow bar install on my VW that was as good as the dealership. He even said one of his staff was ex-VW.The first time I towed with the TJM tow bar the factory parking sensors beeped all the time. I went back to TJM to ask for it to be fixed but was told, That's just how it is. You need to go to the dealership to get the computer reprogrammed for the tow pack if it bothers you".You can guess what the dealership said about that. Thanks for nothing TJM Southside."

Bad workmanship, I had an insurance repair job and TJM Southside installed the bullbar and winch as part of the repair. The bullbar was installed incorrectly so it scratches on the vehicles body. Headlights scratched during install/from rubbing bullbar. Mud guards not even bolted into the car and didn’t install the fuse panel/isolation switch for the wireless remote control for the winch, was told to bring it back another day so they could complete it. Entire bullbar and headlights had to be replaced by insurance company at another TJM as part of rectification work. When the bullbar was pulled off, exposed all loose wiring behind the bullbar from the previous fog lights etc that were just left dangling out of sight. FOG light switch already installed in the car but they choose to badly cut into the dashboard and install another switch leaving a blank switch beside it. When the new switch was installed it was recessed into the dashboard and badly cut. The button was not working and the electric side mirror button beside it also stopped working. Had to have another auto electrician fix this. 0 stars if possible, would never trust them with my vehicle again.

Had got my last towbar fitted here and was a good experience so came back. Picked up another vehicle over Christmas. Went in to see if I could increase the height on a factory fit towbar. Guy was really helpful, came and looked at the car and said you would need to get a custom made tongue. Gave me the name and number of a place that would probably make me one. Great customer service when there was no sale in it. I did what he suggested and got my issue fixed. Great customer service and advice form TJM. Very much appreciated.

TJM installed our Tow bar and electronic brake control without any issues and really tidy work. Had battery changed by another company and they failed to reconnect brake controller correctly. The guys a TJM happily fixed it up for us and tested it at no cost. Great customer service.

TJM Southside located in Carlton NSW, was recommended to me by Pedders in Taren Point.I contacted them directly on the phone and Greeted promptly and quickly, I discussed the need to have a tow bar installed, we discussed a reasonable price and booked a date and time there and then.I arrived on the morning, a quick and friendly chat over the counter, the car keys handed over and the work begun, they gave me a pick up time and I arrived the car ready with Tow ball installed beautifully.A Quick run through the work, and an examination of the newly installed item.The job was beautifully in stalled.A friendly chat and the job was done professionally. The staff were excellent, Friendly accurate and highly effective with the job at hand and the customer.Great business's should be supported and promoted, I read through the odd comments, you're not going to make everyone happy, but from my perspective, Highly recommend TJM.
