Graduated with Bachelor of Arts here. University is very clean, layout is very nice, the library has nap stations! Lecturers were hit and miss, Lee Ingram and Dan The Man (DFTF crew, represent!) went above and beyond while some lecturers demotivated students with their feedback. Also, did my study abroad to Japan and that was a wild 6 months I will never forget!

I studied 4th Year Psychology and had a disappointing experience. It was too intense.I completed 3 years successfully with a v good average score, loved attending lectures, learning and having coffee with friends. Then in 4 year it went down hill. The staff were very tough on me in performance meetings to the point that the happy, sweet, lovely young lady I was (who had never experienced feelings like depression or even understood what that meant) became stressed and anxious. I did nothing to deserve this. I performed at 70 percent for 3 years and travelled for 2 hrs a day, to and from uni by bus. I later discovered in 4th year, that Psychology wasn't my chosen career path(good on me for giving it a go) e.g. analysing and writing up long research papers was intense and too hard, is this a reason to make condescending comments and bully me? they knew how I was feeling, they didn't care.I think a few of the staff lacked skills like empathy and shouldn't be working with young people if they don't understand where they are at. Aren't psychologists there to help? Well that's what I thought ... not put young ppl down. I did amazingly and I am proud of my efforts!I appreciate Dr Nick Barrett, Peter Horne and Clare Pollack for their beautiful, caring personalities. I try and focus on my first 3 years where my experience was good. Dr Nick Barrett was the nicest lecturer I've ever had, he truly cared about his students and helped me in every way. He couldn't wait to see me and my friends graduate. God bless him for being kind and I'm sure he will be rewarded in life. A simple act of kindness can make a difference. If it wasn't for these nasty comments from 3 staff members I would give Curtin 5 stars.I have a well paid job now and the bachelor helped me to earn an additional $5000. I completed a post graduate diploma at ECU and found work in a different field. ECU was awesome, everyone was kind and always helpful even in challenging subjects. So, if you find yourself in a hard situation look elsewhere. ECU was fantastic.

University campus is nice but otherwise everything is worst here. Teachers doesn't treat their student right. There is a lot of burden as well. I thought moving to abroad and studying at curtin will be best decision but it was the worst.

What i say about this university. This university has refused my GTE and they also don’t know why they refused it. I’ve also cleared my interview nd my family has sufficient funds to support my studies and also I’ve also cleared the university requirements. So please don’t take admission in this bad university.

This is one of the worst online universities I have attended. I did a digital design unit here as an elective for my bachelor of IT at RMIT. The material is sub par, you only get a 7-20 minute live lecture each week, the rest is all out of date videos that don't match the slides you are given, the assignment briefs are just word documents with the minimum possible information because for some reason they aren't allowed to give proper briefs with due dates on them, they mark assessments based on personal opinion instead of the rubric, and the feedback you get for assignments is a lazy vague 6 minute video. I quit this unit because frankly I'd get a better education from a $20 online video course or LinkedIn learning. Don't go to this university, it's really not worth the money or stress. RMIT is great though.

I have applied my offerletter for Bachelor of Health sciences in September 2022. And i received my offerletter on 24th January 2023. I have sent emails but they don't replied. And they send offerletter after 4 months. Then i have sent my GTE documents in January. It has been passed more than 4 months but still i have not received my Gte approval. My classes are going to be start on 24th July. But there is no revert from your side. I am waiting from a long time. They take too much time to answer your queries. I am waiting from 4 months to get my GTE approval and COE. But still there is no revert.

Do not recommend Curtin, especially if studying online. The entire experience has been horrid. Currently on my final placement and the drama continues, to the point I'm seriously wondering if it's worth pushing through the last 7 weeks (after 5 years of constant stress and chaos thanks to Curtin).Common tropes throughout the degree have been:Inconsistencies in marking, expectations, requirements, permissions.Lack of support - my question was deleted off the DB after sitting unanswered for weeks.Incredibly poor communication with students and particularly with schools taking on PSTs for placement.Preferential treatment of on campus students and overt snubbing of interstate students. The internship is borderline illegal with the expected workload, zero allowance for illness or days off and refusal to allow PSTs to be paid (despite the law stating that the workload makes it no longer a lawful unpaid internship and the school can offer remuneration at their own will).I cannot wait to be free of this unprofessional, cash grabbing institution who give zero effs about their students.

After arriving in Perth Feb 2022 we have had problem after problem including little help from Curtin Uni. As my wife is international student it seems all they care about is getting there money and nothing else matters. I would not recommend this Uni from our experience to anyone thinking of studying here.

Very nice university. Full of undergrad and master students. Have diversified student communities. Nice guild restaurant. Rich lab facilities along with nice tech park. Love the place a lot. Long fields with grass to roam.
