Had the most delicious lunch at Nini's! A great spot for outdoor dining. The prawn kataifi was so fresh and crispy. Meal of the day was definitely the slow roasted lamb shoulder with lemony potatoes! Highly recommend for a social catch up for lunch or dinner.

We had a great evening catch up with friends recently at Ninis in Hawthorn. Very much a Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean style menu, there were lots of tasty bites in the small plates section, larger sharing plates, pide style pizzas and salads.We loved the slow cooked lamb, the fattoush salad, and filo wrapped feta as the breads were fresh and dips tasty. The lamb pide was tasty but disappointing in that the lamb itself had quite a lot of gristle.While we also found the drinks and most cocktails delicious, the Nini Soecial martini wasn’t one of them. It really had a strange taste for the two of us who tried it.Dessert wise we tried the Turkish delight crem brûlée (yum) and the almost essential Loukoumathes donuts.Service was really good and as the restaurant wasn’t packed full we were given plenty of time to chat and interact afterwards without being thrown out the door.

I just had my sons baptism and birthday party at Ninis last night.What an amazing night!!!The back part of the restaurant that goes out to the balcony is firstly an amazing quality room. It had enough room for a 4 piece band to set up and a small dance floor. It was set up perfectly and there was enough space for 50 people to enjoy their night.The food was amazing and fresh! All of my guests made comment at how good the food was and about how generous the portions were..as far as the service is concerned it was perfect service. Bita and her team were so efficient and friendly. My guests were looked after so well. Special mention to Shorty who is an absolutely amazing employee! She is so helpful and lovely.I could go on and on about how happy I was with everything.

Lovely space upstairs with open feel and lots of windows. Ideal for private dinner or function.Food tasted great and beautifully presented.

If you’re after the best Italian in Melbourne you can’t go past this place. Roof top bar and indoor outdoor with the best kitchen in town. Locally sourced wines and ingredients combined in base to toppings excellence, roasted, baked and sautéed whether the barramundi or prosciutto grilled pasta, the salted garlic butter in bread or the honey soaked walnut gelato is simply heavenly 10/10

Hi, We were there this afternoon. We ordered lamb shoulder and a dip with pita bread. The dip did not taste good, and the pita didn't taste fresh. Even the lamb shoulder was not convincingly good. I don't like to give bad reviews, so have revised to 3 stars.

We had dinner at Ninis essentially chosen as the first few restaurants I was looking at didn’t have adequate options for the vegetarian members in our dining party. The venue itself looked impressive from the outside but inside it was quite dark and nothing special.I had the Nini’s special cocktail which I found undrinkable but fortunately the food fared better. The bread that came with the trio of dips was quite hard and crunchy and I prefer soft but I enjoyed the baked filo feta. My favourite dish was definitely dessert and I would highly recommend the brûlée. Staff were pleasant

Really enjoyed this restaurant, having gone in with high expectations looking at online prior. The owner was super friendly and couldn't do enough to make our evening lovely. Food, flawless. Every dish that came out was spot on. Will be back

A perfect tapa-styled dining restaurant. The meals are quite large and I suggest ordering as you dine so that you don’t order too much food. We were offered a takeaway container for the excess food and found the staff to be very friendly.The layout of the restaurant is spacious, comfortable and the outdoor dining option would be amazing during summer at lunchtime. The interior is kinda cool with an open plan kitchen and bar which is very nice.
