JB Hi-Fi

Most of the reviews here appear to be talking about the wrong JB HiFi store, so there seems to be some confusion!! There are 3 JB HiFi stores on Elizabeth Street. The one at 239 Elizabeth Street specialises in computers, printers and smartphones etc. The one at 261 Elizabeth Street is the Camera discount specialist outlet and the store at 289 Elizabeth Street specialises in CDs, DVDs and Games etc. Thus, this is the JB HiFi discount camera store!!!This store specialises in digital still and digital video cameras, accessories, batteries and media. The product range is excellent and the prices are hard to beat. To top it off, the staff here is excellent with great product knowledge and customer service skills and I have add that Dean is my go to man here, by far the best salesperson in all of the JB HiFi stores that I've visited. Ask for Dean and tell him that Adam referred you, he'll look after you, and well ;-)

So this JB store is a little weird. It's split up into different flagship stores specialising in different items and you will probably have to take the lift if you are looking for a product you can't find on one floor. It can make finding a product on your own a little annoying, but the staff are very happy to help you out.

I always find this store helpful when im needing help with audio cords etc. They really do know their products and helped me a lot over the years.

Great experience went with my partner to look at getting a new laptop for him. We were served by Hannah who couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. She gave us great service and helped us choose the right machine for my partners needs without trying to upswell anything. She was great and I hope her manager sees this and recognises good service.

Easiest 5 star review I've had to give.I walked in nervous as anything about what phone to get. Sharon answered all my questions really well, listened to what I need and provided a phone perfect to what I was looking for.Amazing and lovely customer service.

Staff is helpful but only a few number of them is friendly.The store is easy to access.Many many staff stays on the ground floor butOnly one staff stays on upstairs.If it is possible to increase the number of staff staying upstairs it would be better.

Knowledgeable, prompt and friendly service. Overall experience dropped down to 4 stars due to system problem, else was 5 star service.I came in to take up an in-store only offer. There was a decent number of staff on site. Most were busy but I quickly spotted someone available.I was pleased when Toby immediately knew what I was referring to, even quickly describing the process and the expected time to complete it. He very efficiently collected and prepared all the information he'd need to fulfill my request. Toby smiled the whole time and chatted during waiting times, even when the system delayed him. He set and managed my expectations very well.The ONLY reason I'm giving this experience 4 stars rather than 5 is because there was a computer system issue, out of Toby's control, which slowed down the process.

Great JB with everything from TV’s, sound and kitchen appliances. There is always in store bargains, especially with the TV’s. the service is first class and they are very willing to help and don’t forget to ask for the best price as they will often take a little off the asking price.

Good range as always. At the counter there was one person on the till, and he was on the phone to a customer. There was 7 of us waiting in the queue. There was a lady (who I'm assuming is the supervisor/manager) with orange hair just floating around and on her phone and occasionally telling the guy who was absolutely swamped to do things. If you are the manager you're setting a poor example. After 10 minutes of waiting I got my items.
